Job description
Human Resources Generalist (Hospitality)
Harrisburg, PA
The primary responsibility of the Human Resource Generalist is to administer and provide guidance to
management on the Company policies and programs. This includes employee relations, benefits and
compensation, learning and development, recruiting and employee engagement.
Manage the hiring process including attracting and selecting candidates, perform background
checks, verify employee files including I-9 verification
Process all benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, etc. This includes assistance with
enrollments, changes, and payroll deductions
Work with ADP to assist managers with payroll issues and completing payroll
Maintain records of all employee PTO utilization and balances through ADP system.
Prepare audits of payroll and benefit accounts, and other accounts as directed
Administer all corporate, local, state, and federal personnel forms including new hire paperwork,
terminations, workers compensation, unemployment claims etc.
Support all employees in resolving issues and disciplinary action, up to and including termination
Perform all activities necessary to close out a calendar year and fiscal year, including but not
limited to preparation of all applicable reports in payroll system and generation of W-2’s
