HOD’s Meeting with the Principal on 07/12/2010

Following Faculty members were present in the meeting:

1. Twenty five 2 marks questions with answers to be submitted to help the

effective coaching for the students.

2. open book test was confirmed to be conducted in the first week of Jan
‘11(03/01/2011 to

11/01/2011)

3.Lab Practical’s for C & D is planned on 08/12/2010.

4.Practical’s would be over by 08/12/2010.

5.Theory portions are over by 07/12/2010.

6. From 09/12/2010 coaching classes are commenting a special time table is

already framed.

7.Special attention for slow learners to be given to ensure cent percent

passes. \slow learners alone can also be treated.

8. Model practical’s to be flamed on the following dates: 21/12/2010 (AN),

22/12/2010 and

23/12/2010 & 24/12/2010.

9. Co-ordinator for model practical’s is Mr.Guana Muruga Gandhi.

10. Model Theory Exams are planned between 15/12/2010 and 20/12/2010.

11. Christmas leave 25th & 26th Dec ‘2010

 12. on 03/01/2011 morning session for coaching and afternoon session for open
book test. The next day morning the students.

13. From 13/01/2011 to 17/01/2011 study holidays for students planned.

14. University theory exam commences from 18th Jan ’11 to 29th Jan ’11.

15. 12th Jan ’11 Review of students performance of open book test.

16. Staff vacation is planned from 13th Jan onwards. The vacation is
planned as follows:

I Slot:

17th Jan ’11 to 23rd Jan’11

II Slot

24th Jan ’11 to 30th Jan’11.

17. Vacation plan should be submitted to the principal on or before 31th Dec
‘2010.

18. All the faculties should frame the detailed time table and subject allocation
for second semester on or before 12th Jan ’11.

19. The time table should be framed by the HOD’s of engineering departments.

20. Subject allocation should be done by the respective departmental heads.

21. All the departments and faculties are asked to offer4 unconditional and
absolute co-operation to the exam control Centre.

22. The chemistry department and the CSE department have expressed their
willingness to conduct coaching class only for the slow learners. Others will
be in the library. Other departments have expresses to conduct the coaching
class for all.

23. List of poor performers to be given by the concerned faculties to the principal
on or before 23rd Dec 2010 for further counseling.

24. An undertaking has been received from the students and their parents who
have failed in more than three subjects.

25. The ultimate aim of all the above efforts is to produce 100% result.
