Paramonga CDM Bagasse Boiler Project B3

Description: The purpose of the project is to change the energy generation system of Agro Industrial Paramonga S.A., from the actual residual fuel
oil based energy generation system, to a new sugar cane bagasse energy system. It will be located in the department of Lima, province of Barranca.

HEAVEN Biodiesel Production and Distribution for Automobile Transportation B4

Description: The project consists of the construction of a plant for a production of Biodiesel with a capacity production of 120,000 gallons per day.
The Biodiesel will be use as substitute of diesel. The project is located in the department and province of Lima.

Current Status: Projects Benefits:

Earliest project start date: 2006.
Operation start date: May 2007.
Project lifetime: Indefinite.
Current Status: Authorization by Municipality is already given. Environ-
mental Impact Assessment Study approved by Ministry of Agriculture.
It has signed an agreement with Endesa Carbono Consultants to deve-
lop PDD and CERs commercialization. Feasibility study is finished. The
plant is in operation.
Number of direct and indirect jobs generated:
It generates 15,000 indirect works.
Sustainable development contribution:
It displaces a fossil fuel system with a clean fuel that not contains sul-
phur.
It contributes significantly to reducing global warming by displacing
GHG emissions.
It implements social responsibility activities and social plants.
