• The Venus Project is an organization whose aim is to establish a plan for social change
aimed at a peaceful and sustainable civilization at a global level.
FUTURAGORA is the official representative of The Venus Project in Portugal.

The Movimento Zeitgeist Portugal is composed of all the supporters and activists who
are interested in promoting, encouraging and developing the concepts, projects and
underlying philosophies to The Zeitgeist Movement and The Venus Project.

THE FOLLOWING PARTNERSHIP IS ESTABLISHED:

Article 1
Definitions

The Movimento Zeitgeist Portugal (MZP) aims at raising awareness and educating, as
well as to begin the cultural and intellectual transition to a sustainable and peaceful
society at a global level. For this, the MZP intends to promote, inform and divulge to
society the values, mentality and method of thought necessary for a society based on a
Resource Based Economy

The FUTURAGORA - Associação para a Economia Baseada nos Recursos (FA) is to

support, defend and implement the philosophies and projects developed by The Venus
Project (TVP).

Article 2
Functioning

In the pursuit of the above objectives, the FA and the MZP will allocate its resources (i)
under the management and direction of FA when the projects are of technological
nature, Social Science, or whenever they need to be incorporated into a legal structure;
and (ii) under the management and direction of the MZP when the projects address the
awareness, education and dissemination of ideas and concepts defined in ARTICLE 1.

Article 3
Financing

1. While a non-profit association, the FA provides resources, services and financing to

the MZP, collecting funds in the form of grants or marketing of goods. All profits
generated will be applied in TVP and MZP, according to its origin.

2. Parallel to the financing system described in Article 3, the FA will have a completely
transparent system of direct donations, in which the donor can choose which project the
donor wants to allocate the donation to.

Article 4
Institutionalization

The FA is the legal entity that will establish contact with institutions, political parties,
 governmental organizations, mass media and the general public in order to finance and
realize their goals as well as the goals of the MZP, pursuant to ARTICLES 1, 2 and 3.

Article 5
Complementarity

Like the international site of TVP, the FA's forum will be integrated in the MZP's forum
under its own section, in which the MZP's rules of conduct fully apply.

Article 6. º
Activities

1. The FA and the MZP will align their activities, initiatives and actions, so to never put
into question the good repute of the two organizations or the objectives of each party,
as defined in ARTICLE 1.

2. Whenever one of the signatories intend to develop an activity or action that violates
the stipulated in paragraph 1 of this article, unanimity is required to enable its
realization.

Article 7. º
Freedom of Choice

The Contracting Parties reserve the right to terminate or renegotiate the terms of this
partnership at any time.

O Movimento Zeitgeist Portugal é composto por todos os apoiantes e activistas que

estão interessados em divulgar, promover e desenvolver os conceitos, projectos e
filosofias subjacentes ao The Zeitgeist Movement e ao The Venus Project.

ESTABELECE-SE A SEGUINTE PARCERIA:

Artigo 1.º
Definições

O Movimento Zeitgeist Portugal (MZP) tem por objectivo consciencializar e educar,

assim como iniciar a transição cultural e intelectual para uma sociedade sustentável e
pacífica a nível global. Para isso, o MZP pretende promover, divulgar e informar a
sociedade dos valores, mentalidade e método de pensamento necessários a uma
sociedade alicerçada numa Economia Baseada em Recursos

A FUTURAGORA - Associação para a Economia Baseada nos Recursos (FA) tem por
objectivo apoiar, defender e implementar as filosofias e projectos desenvolvidos pelo
The Venus Project (TVP).
Artigo 2.º
Funcionamento

Na prossecussão dos objectivos acima mencionados, a FA e o MZP aplicarão os seus

recursos (i) sob a gestão e direcção da FA quando os projectos sejam de carácter
Tecnológico, Científico e Social, ou ainda sempre que os mesmos precisem de se
inserir numa estrutura legal; e (ii) sob a gestão e direcção do MZP quando os projectos
respeitem a consciencialização, educação e divulgação dos conceitos e ideias
definidos no ARTIGO 1º.

Artigo 3.º
Financiamento

1. Enquanto associação sem fins lucrativos, a FA fornece recursos, serviços e

financiamento ao MZP, recolhendo fundos sob a forma de donativos ou
comercialização de bens. Todo o lucro gerado será aplicado no TVP e MZP, consoante
a sua origem.

2. Paralelamente ao sistema de financiamento descrito no ARTIGO 3º, a FA possuirá

um sistema totalmente transparente de donativos directos, no âmbito do qual o doador
poderá escolher a que projecto quer alocar o seu donativo.

Artigo 4.º
Institucionalização

A FA é a entidade legal que estabelecerá contacto com instituições, partidos,

organizações governamentais, mass media e o público em geral no sentido de financiar
e realizar tanto os seus objectivos como do MZP, nos termos dos ARTIGOS 1º, 2º e 3º.

Artigo 5.º
Complementaridade

À semelhança do site internacional do TVP, o fórum da FA estará integrado no fórum

do MZP com a sua respectiva secção, sendo que as regras de conduta do MZP são
aplicáveis na sua totalidade ao fórum da FA.

Artigo 6.º
Actividades

1. A FA e o MZP deverão alinhar as suas actividades, iniciativas e acções, de modo a

nunca colocar em causa a idoneidade de ambas as organizações ou os objectivos de
cada uma das partes, conforme definidos no ARTIGO 1º.

2. Sempre que um dos signatários se proponha a desenvolver uma actividade, acção

ou iniciativa que viole o referido no nº1 do presente artigo, será exigida unanimidade
para viabilizar a realização da mesma.

Artigo 7.º
Liberdade de Escolha

As partes contratantes reservam-se no direito de rescindir ou renegociar os termos da

presente parceria a qualquer momento.

• Futuragora is working towards the aims and direction of The Venus Project in Portugal.
Futuragora as a non-profit should maintain its legal entity separate from The Venus
Project. This way, it brings no responsibility to Venus Project for their actions.

Futuragora wants to take action towards The Venus Project goals of an experimental
research city and resource based economy. They are doing this by organizing FA as a
non profit status trying to acquire funding to use in conjunction with The Venus Project
towards our mutual end goals.

• A Futuragora está a trabalhar para os objectivos e direcção do Projecto Vénus em

Portugal. A Futuragora como associação sem fins lucrativos deverá manter a
sua entidade jurídica distinta do Projecto Vénus. Dessa forma as acções da FA não
trazem nenhuma responsabilidade ao Projecto Vénus. A FA está a prosseguir estes
objectivos através de um estatuto sem fins lucrativos, tentando angariar fundos para
usar em conjunto com o Projecto Vénus no sentido de atingir objectivos finais mútuos.
