Versatile recessed linear module

Clearvision overview

Clearvision Lighting has a 15-year pedigree in ergonomic and

environmental lighting. We have been at the leading edge of the
industry in adopting new technology and design techniques to
improve workplaces and reduce energy consumption.

Our appreciation of daylight has been apparent from the beginning.

One of our first innovations in ergonomics was Virtual Daylight® in
1997, which has since been copied by many other companies.

We focus on lens technologies (some patented) that are central to

our most successful products. We find that they’re an effective means
of optimising design between efficiency, glare control and useful light
distribution.

Clearvision is a project lighting company with a focus on customer

applications for our products. We therefore provide a full technical
support service–including Dialux (plug-in available), AutoCAD,
emergency test and control systems.

Please contact our technical department for design and product

related questions and sales for project quotations. All queries can be
addressed to enquiries@clearvisionlighting.com or on 01252 344011.

Arizona

The Arizona is a 1200x300mm direct/indirect luminaire designed for

use in a variety of ceilings including the SAS 330 metal plank. The
design is based around linear T5 lamps in 28W (or 25W eco version)
and 54W (or 50W eco version) in single or twin lamp formats. The
optics are Clearvision proprietary M45 or HTX lenses, which provide
a blend of high transmission, light spread and glare control. The lens
has anodised aluminium side bars and polycarbonate end caps.
Retention of the lens within the body is achieved with spring loaded
polypropylene shootbolts within the aluminium channel.

The Arizona is available with a variety of dimming and emergency

versions, including an integral daylight/presence detection head
option. The system can be supplied with our own controls (see
K-sense on page 8) or for use with most commonly used systems.

Design

The standard Arizona will fit into exposed T-Grid or plasterboard

ceilings using standard ceiling retention brackets where required.
However it is common for this size of fitting to be integrated into
metal ceiling systems, such the SAS 330, where custom sizing and
brackets are sometimes required.
Emergency lighting

The Arizona, as with the majority of Clearvision Replacement costs are reduced due to the LED
products, is available with a 3 hour maintained emergency system using a smaller emergency battery

installed, together with the emergency driver, within
the luminaire. The green LED charge indicator is
incorporated within the emitter and is also used for
self-test reporting (where specified). The long life of
LEDs, coupled with the limited hours of use demanded
by this application, makes the Arizona LED emergency
option a robust solution.

Maintenance

The Arizona is easy to maintain, because the lens hinges or clips out
on shootbolts providing easy access to the lamp or ballast, which is
accessible behind a removable cover plate.

Having an easily removeable lens aids cleaning and future

replacement of it and other parts at normal end of life. The Arizona
has been designed in such a way in order to minimise future waste
flows.
