Financial Support Update

The month of December was a sweet time for me as I
reflected on Godʼs provision of forgiveness and
redemption through Jesus Christ. Not only has He
provided his Son for me, He has also provided a vision for
me to glorify Him by serving oppressed and neglected
children. Now, I am watching Him provide the means. He
is faithful! I have been encouraged by many of you as I
have felt your prayers and support of me in this. I am
honored to be serving the Lord alongside you. I consider
you a partner in this, so please be sure to let me know
how I can be praying for you!

STORIES F ROM TH E F IEL D
New Scholarship Student n
In Honduras, school is only free and compulsory up Ada
to the sixth grade. In order to address this
problem, Team Honduras has developed a
scholarship program, wherein particular children are
given the opportunity to attend school. We
currently have four children being scholarshipped,
the newest addition being Carlos. Please pray for
los
him as he makes this very important transition. Yay Ca r
for Carlos!

Pastors’ Conference
In early December, Team Honduras organized a three-day theological conference for local
pastors on the topic of Leadership. This was the fourth conference they had and over 50 pastors
attended. Other conferences have included topics such as marriage and Christ in the Old
Testament. This is such a critical need in a country where most of the pastors (as discussed
above) only have a sixth-grade education and are so eager to learn and understand more of
God’s Word. Overall it was a great success!

• Pray for me as I continue to build my support team and wait on the Lord’s timing for my arrival in
Honduras.
• Pray for Team Honduras as they press on in the absence of their team leaders.
• We also have two interns, Bethany and Leo who will be serving the team for the next year. Pray for
them.
