forestry, land use management and economics, co-operation,
processing and marketing relating to agriculture as defined in Section
2(2) of the Gujarat Agricultural Universities Act, 2004.

Preferable :-
Significant accomplishment in the field of extension education.
A good knowledge of the educational system prevalent in the world and
familiarity with modern concepts of organisation and co-ordination of
teaching, research and extension activities.
Knowledge of Gujarati is preferred

Period spent as JRF/SRF for obtaining degree will not be
considered as experience.
f) Passed the examination of CCC+ of DOEACC or of the
equivalent level as may be determined by the State Government

The candidate must not have attained the age of 45 years as on
closing date for receipt of applications.

c) Basic degree in deserving cases will be relaxed in suitable cases

Important
1] New defined contributory pension scheme as introduced vide Government vernacular
Resolution Dated : 18-3-2005 and 6-6-2005 No. NPN-2003-GOI-10-P will be applicable in case
of candidates other than Navsari Agricultural University employees.
2] The post of SC, ST and SEBC will be filled up as per State Government rules in all post.
3] Age relaxable in case of SC, ST and SEBC as per the State Government Rules.
4] The crucial date for determining the eligibility in respect of Age/Educational/ Qualifications/
Experience should be the closing date for receipt of application form candidates
i.e. 3-12-2010.

Application in the prescribed proforma, available on web site, should be filled in completely
supported with attested copies of certificate pertaining to the qualifications and experience,
accompanied with crossed Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order amounting of Rs. 500/- in favour of
"Navsari Agricultural University Fund Account" (SC, ST, SEBC candidates need not pay application
form fee). The candidate must send Demand Draft or Indian Postal Order as application form fee in
case the form downloaded from our web site www.nau.in except reserve category.

The reservation of posts shown above is for the candidate of Gujarat origin only, therefore other
candidates need not apply against these posts, SEBC candidate should furnish prescribed & current
years "Non Creamy-layer Certificate" along with their application form. Interview call will be issued
on the basis of merit / marks obtained in bio-data of the candidate. The appointments will be made on
merit basis from among the select-lists and limited to sanction accorded by the Government to fill-up
the number of vacant posts as shown above. NET will be compulsory as per ICAR / Government of
Gujarat directives.
