Roles and Responsibilities:

 In charge of all the structural related inspection like a fit up, visual, back gauging and vacuum
tests inspection.
 Carry out material verifications ,consumable verification before and during welding
 witness for tensile test, harpy impact and hardness test
 Carry out Close up survey with class surveyor and yard
 Review of WPS,WPQR and welder performance qualification test,
 In charge of renewal plan based on the client corrosion margin

 Check that all personnel performing inspection and testing requiring experience and
qualification are identified and that their qualifications are kept updated and recorded

fabrication for FPSO / FSO, LNG Carriers Offshore platforms and Offshore drilling rigs and FPSO
conversions etc.

Position Held : Production QA/QC Inspector(Hull)

Roles and Responsibilities:

 In charge for structural visual inspection and inspection report .

 Arrange the NDT TESTING according to the project specification/survey class requirement.
 Dimension checking before welding and after installation of the blocks.
 Quality controlling and ensuring while fabrication
 Inspection of tank leak and integrity testing (air test/hydro test).
 Preparation of the inspection test report after the welding inspection.
 Ensure quality and dimension control for structural works.
 Monitor the welding activity according to the WPS.
 Prepare in house quality plan.
 Familiar in ASTM, AWS, ASME, IACS ship building and ship repair standards.
 Ensure that the requirements for all weld, welder and welding activities are correctly
specified and carry out in accordance with the relevant codes,
 Incoming material verification according to the client specification and contract standard.
 Co-ordination between client and NDT contractors.
 Ensure the inspection/testing equipments at site are with valid calibration.
 Checks the levels of blocks before and after installs the blocks by Theodolite survey
instrument.

sugar plants, cement plants, cogeneration power plants and captive power plants.

Position Held : JUNIOR ENGINEER

Roles and Responsibilities :

 In charge for structural work and inspection and report to QC manager in the Sugar
plant construction.
 Review the GA drawing for Equipment, Piping & Structure to prepare the lifting structure
installation sequence.
 Assist in equipment erection including checking & recording the alignment / level for
Rotating equipment such as Mills, Compressors, FD Fans, Air pre heater equipment
(rotor, center section, seal setting and PA Fans etc.) and Columns.
 Check the connection details for Columns, Beams, Bracings, Tie beams and Girders
etc. Also check the handrails, Cheqd. Plate and gratings details.
 Schedule preparation for weekly & monthly from overall schedule and monitor the same in MS-
Project.
 Record the daily, weekly and monthly progress and compare with overall schedule and
do the corrective action if any.
 Coordinate with client & Subcontractors for Permit to Work and other access permits.
 Conduct the weekly safety meeting, safety walk about and make awareness about the
site safety.
 Coordination with customer for inspection related activities and successfully satisfied
the customer in strict inspection procedures,
