We are happy to welcome back to Augusta Drs. Tony and


Marianne Lenti as they present a workshop and master class on GMTA Auditions
Jan. 29, 2011 at Aldersgate United Methodist Church. The two have Fri., April 15
been heard on four continents, are in residence at Lander Kennesaw State Univ.
University, and have served many years as artist
performers/teachers at the South Carolina Governor's School for
the Arts and the Chamber Music Conference in Interlochen,
Michigan. They will present a lecture entitled “The How of Four-
Hands Music: Practical Consideration of Study and Performance.”
The morning lecture will begin at 9:30 followed by a master class at
11:00, and after a break for lunch, another master class at 1:00.

Admission is $20 for teachers and $10 for ASU students. The fee for
student participants in the master class is $10. Lunch is available for __________________

 AMTA Piano Festival and Auditions

Our annual piano festival takes place this year on Sat., Feb. 26 at Augusta State University. Registration
forms are available in the yearbook and also online on the Resources page of the AMTA website:
http://augustamusicteachers.org/Resources.html. The postmark deadline for registration is February 5th.
Our local auditions for GMTA will be on March 12 at ASU. The postmark deadline for registration is February
26th, and registration forms are available in the GMTA Auditions Handbook or by clicking here.
