How it works:

Upon sending an MMS to mobile@facebook.com the first time, you will receive a

“confirmation code” via SMS.

Sign in to your face book account

Go to Photos under Application menu, given at the bottom of the page

Click on “Mobile Uploads” tab, and click on “Enter Confirmation Code” link

Enter the “confirmation code” you received via SMS, and click on “confirm”

Your picture will be uploaded to your account

For all subsequent photo uploads, you would not require any confirmation code. Simply

send them to mobile@facebook.com.

for this service? This service is pre-provisioned for all Warid ZEM Prepaid subscribers

which are active for more then 99 days.

7. Warid's 'Sindh card

A billboard on Karsaz (Karachi) has lately been sporting an ajrak

background, a murky Nokia 6300 and a message in Urdu that effectively says

calls 'from Sindh' on to anywhere on Warid's network would be rated as the

low cost friends and family calls (45 paisa per minute). A small fine print

on the right side says 'excluding taxes' and 'limited time offer'.

Warid Telecom's ZEM prepaid subscribers will be able to make calls at

considerably lower rates with the economical friends and family package. The

calling rate can be as low as 45 paisas. This offer is limited to all calls

in Karachi and Sindh region from 26th January to 29th February 2008, while

making on-net calls. Warid Telecom is the first mobile operator in Pakistan

to introduce this unique and innovative 'location based' facility for its

consumers. The facility is applicable to all ZEM prepaid subscribers in

Sindh.

8. Warid's Wireless Broadband USB

warid today gave ad in news papers about it "Wireless Broadband USB " to be available

from warid's service centers.

Well guys, I wrote to Warid Telecom Customer Service with some questions and got the

following reply from **** (Executive Correspondence):

"Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting Warid Telecom Customer Service. With

reference to your mail, we would like to inform you that for the first time in Pakistan,

Warid Telecom proudly introduces Wireless Broadband to our valued subscribers.

Wireless Broadband is state of the art EDGE / GPRS supported modem which can be

plugged in USB port available in Laptop / PC for high speed wireless network access.

You can enjoy wireless connectivity from your home, office, outdoor sites and so on.

Please find below the complete details:

Salient Features:

Wireless Broadband supports GSM, GPRS and EDGE service. It will work everywhere

in Pakistan where we have Warid GPRS/EDGE coverage and internationally where we

have GPRS roaming available. Wireless Broadband also supports SMS and Data

service. Wireless Broadband Service may be used on a laptop as well as on a computer.

The GPRS facility will be free for the first month. However, postpaid subscribers will be

charged monthly rental of Rs.500 plus taxes for GPRS Infinity from the 2nd month.

Please note that EDGE service provides data transfer rates significantly faster than

GPRS. It increases the speed of each timeslot to 48 kbps and allows the use of up to 8

timeslots, giving a maximum data transfer rate of 384 kbps.

How to Use:

Subscribers can simply plug & play Wireless Broadband USB device in their

laptop/desktop (in USB port). It will automatically install and Wireless Broadband will

be ready for use.

9. Warid's offers for Hajj pilgrims

Warid Telecom offers international roaming services to the Bangladeshi devotees who

travel to Saudi Arabia to perform Holy Hajj this year.

Under the latest offer, any Warid postpaid customers having an international credit card

will be able to enjoy reduced security deposit and less service charge for availing the

international roaming facility during the Hajj. In this regard, Warid Telecom signed an

agreement with United Commercial Bank Ltd (UCBL) recently, under which all

international credit card holders of the bank will be able to enjoy international roaming

facility by paying Tk 4,000 as security deposit during Hajj. Other international credit card

holders will also be able to subscribe international roaming service by paying Tk 5,000 as

security deposit.

10. Warid’s new ZEM Happy Hour

Lahore, December 19, 2008: Warid Telecom (Pvt) Limited has brought another amazing

offer, ZEM Happy Hour for its subscribers. ZEM Happy Hour lets Warid ZEM prepaid

subscriber to make unlimited free calls to as many Warid numbers during any selected

one hour daily, according to their requirement and convenience on daily basis.

Subscription to ZEM Happy Hour is as convenient as sending a simple text message

mentioning the hour of choice to 2742. Subscribers also have the facility to select their
