The Doorknob
Held at the Oregon Garden Pavilion on Friday, April 8, 2011, this event will pamper 300+ ladies with
appetizers, desserts, adult beverages, and shopping.
To make this unforgettable event even more special for our guests, we are seeking fun displays of products
that will complement the evening. Items reflecting the theme “Spring in Wonderland” are desired and
include clothing, jewelry, purses, shoes, accessories, beauty supplies and services, fitness and travel.
In-booth demonstrations are welcome and provide a good venue for showcasing your business and/or
products.
This is an outstanding and affordable opportunity to highlight your business, services and / or products.
Continuing to market to and connect with prospective customers is imperative in this economy.
Here are just a few of the benefits of participating as a vendor at this event:
Attached are the details for reserving a booth space. Please read all of the information carefully and return
the completed response form NO LATER THAN FEBRUARY 1, 2011. Because of the popularity of
the event and the high demand for booth space, we cannot honor requests received after this date. If
you are chosen as a vendor, you will receive a confirmation letter from us by February 22, 2011. Vendor
space for this event filled up with a long waiting list last year. Don’t wait to send in your application!
TIMELINE
Noon—5:00 p.m: Vendor booth set-up
5:45—6:45 p.m: Vendor reception
7:00—10:00 p.m: Vendor booths open; raffles throughout evening
VENDOR BOOTHS
Cost: $100 for Silverton Chamber of Commerce members; $150 for non-members
Size: 10 foot x 10 foot
Includes: One table with linen, two chairs, and a sign with your business name
(You will need to bring your own linen if bringing a different size table.)
Set Up: Noon to 5:00 pm
Tear Down: 10:00 pm
Vendor Guidelines
Each booth space will represent one (1) business.
Vendors are allowed a maximum of two (2) people to staff the booth. Additional personnel are
welcome to attend for an exclusive, vendor-only fee of $20 per person.
Please do not leave your booth unattended from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Vendors are responsible for selling their own product. Bring your own booth display, additional
lighting, bags, tissue, change, etc.
Vendors must maintain their space in a safe, clean manner. Vendors are responsible for removing
their own garbage and cleaning their space after the close of the event.
The Oregon Garden Pavilion has restrictions involving the hanging of signage or other items. Please
send any inquires to the Chamber office at info@silvertonchamber.org or call 503-873-5615.
As a courtesy, all vendor personnel are respectfully asked to refrain from eating the event food or
drinking the complimentary cocktail provided to our guests. (Please read below for information on
Vendor Reception.) Complimentary bottled water will be available, but if you wish to make a
purchase at the bar, we ask you to please drink responsibly.
Promotional Opportunities
In addition to our Event Fundraiser, we are offering multiple raffles throughout the evening, with
one $20 item donated from each vendor. A committee member will contact you to make arrange-
ments for procuring this item prior to Friday, April 1, 2011.
Optional: Vendors are welcome to offer additional door prizes either from their booths or for event
raffles. Those vendors providing items valued over $200 will be offered a mailing list of our
registered guests. This is an amazing opportunity to help you effectively follow up with attendees
after the event.
We are looking for a sponsor or provider of “goodie bags” for the attendees. If you are
interested in this additional way to connect with the ladies, please contact the Silverton Chamber at
503-873-5615.

A Vendor Reception will take place from 5:45 to 6:45 on event day. A small array of appetizers will be
provided and you will have an opportunity to network with fellow vendors, as well as do a little shopping of
your own!
