Re: Cease and Desist—Continued Misrepresentations of President Trump’s Endorsement

Dear Mr. Hughes:

This is now the third letter sent to you on behalf of Donald J. Trump for President. The President’s campaign
was disturbed to find out that, despite our counsel writing you twice late last year, Hughes for Congress 2020 has
ignored our demands and continues to reproduce a tweet that President Trump issued endorsing you in the 2018
general election to falsely suggest he supports you again in MN-07’s August 11, 2020 primary. President Trump has
made it clear that he endorses your opponent, Michelle Fischbach, and the President’s campaign reiterates its demand
that you and your campaign immediately cease and desist from making misleading representations of the President’s
endorsement of your 2020 candidacy.

We recently learned that in the lead up to the August 11, 2020 primary, your campaign has been circulating
the enclosed mailer, which again reproduces in full President Trump’s tweet in support of your 2018 campaign. Such
use of the President’s 2018 endorsement by your 2020 campaign is unfairly confusing to the President’s loyal
supporters in your district who may be considering voting for you in the upcoming primary on the false belief that the
President endorses you. Therefore, let us be clear: President Trump and his campaign unambiguously endorse
Michelle Fischbach in MN-07’s August 11, 2020 primary. As the President stated on March 2, 2020:

Michelle @FischbachMN7 is running for Congress in Minnesota. Michelle will protect the unborn,
is Strong on Crime & Borders, Cutting Taxes, your #2A, Loves our Military, Vets, & will stand w/
our Great Farmers. Michelle has my Complete & Total Endorsement!

In sum, President Trump has endorsed Michelle Fischbach in the MN-07 primary election, meaning the
President and his campaign do not support your candidacy. Your campaign’s efforts to make primary voters believe
otherwise are misleading and unfair. The President’s campaign thus demands that you and your campaign immediately
cease and desist from using the President’s 2018 tweet in connection with your 2020 campaign, and from any other
uses of the President’s name, image, or likeness that in any way suggest that either the President or his campaign
endorses or otherwise supports your candidacy in the August 11, 2020 primary.

Sincerely,

Michael S. Glassner
Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.
