Step 1
Given parallel lines AB and CD, offset from
each other, draw line BC and bisect it to find
the midpoint P.

Ogee Curves
I. General description of the Ogee Curves Method

Step 2
Bisect line segments BP and CP. Construct a
line perpendicular to line AB through point B,
and another line perpendicular to line CD
through point C. Make the perpendicular lines
long enough to intersect the bisectors of BP
and CP; label these intersection points M and
N. These are the centers of the two arcs.

3 x O .80 = three circles with 0.8 diameter value
