Work Experience

Self Employment

Responsibilities:
To Produce, Direct, Research, Shoot and Edit the Production of a
Burton's Contractor's Health and Safely Video.

Achievements:
I managed to Create a positive relationship between myself and the
Client.
Designed a suitable concept/treatment which was approved by the
Client.
Correctly time managed the Project to increase productivity and meet
deadlines beyond the clients expectations.
Edited and Captured the Footage suiting to the clients needs.
I was responsible for the whole production and upon completion I was
informed that I would be selected for any future job opportunities with
Burton's Biscuits.

2007-2007 - CVT Broadcast, Chester, Cheshire, UK

Production Assistant (Work Experience)

Responsibilities:
Operating Camera.
Suggesting possible filming locations.
Creating an efficient timetable for a days shoot.
Boom, Radio and Gun microphones were all working suitably.
Editing (colour correction, matching audio levels)

Achievements:
I arranged a work experience that suited my chosen career.
Managed to book hotels and arrange transport to filming locations in a
unfamiliar part of the UK months before I arrived.
My diary for this work experience is being set as an example for other
students at the New Darlington College of Technology.
This experience strengthened my ability to learn new software/skills,
communicated with a team of professionals on a technical level.
(Weekly projects included: Gregg's Bakeries and local granite factory
advertisements. Each day after a shoot numerous hours editing would
be preformed)

2005-2006 - Chase (bar/nightclub) Park Lane, Sunderland

Bar staff

Responsibilities:
Replenished bar, Served customers and Checked/Counted Stock.

Achievements:
Developed key social skills with staff and customers in highly busy
surroundings.

Data Entering (Work Experience)

Responsibilities:
Logging data alphabetically.
Delivering post to correct members of staff.

Achievements:
Every task was completed to the best of my ability.
Most evenings I would stay extra hours until the work was complete,
to give myself an advantage the following day.
