Last week, we went to Aswan. We went there by train. It was a good journey. My father
booked us tickets in the sleeper train. It had comfortable beds. It’s exciting to sleep in a
place and wake up in another place. We had a good time

I really love travelling and enjoy visiting new places. So, I’m planning to go on a journey
Marsa Matrouh next week. I’m going there by train. The train leaves at 6 a.m. from Cairo
station and reaches at 3 p.m. . Traveling by train is enjoyable. From windows, you can
enjoy the beautiful scenery. On the train, you can move easily. I’m sure I’ll see beautiful

The job of a station manager is very important. The station manager keeps everyone safe
in the railway station. He helps people to get onto the right train. He also helps people who
lose something or take the wrong train. He encourages workers to do their work well. He
likes both trains and people. He makes work successful.
One of the ancient wonders of the world
I visited the Great pyramid last week. I went on a school trip with my friends. It was an
amazing day. The great pyramid is one of the most important wonders of the world. It's 137
metres high. It contains amazing rooms. It took twenty years to be built. It has many secrets
in the way of building and designing it. It contains many monuments. These monuments
were taken to the Egyptian museum.

We live in the age of technology and the internet. There are so many social networking sites on
the internet. One of them is the Facebook. I use it every day. It is very useful. It helps me to make
new friends from all over the world. Also, it helps me keep in touch with my family and friends. It
helps in exchanging ideas between different groups of people. It allows me to send messages to a
lot of people at the same time.

and eat them. They first lived in seas 400 million ago. There are many different kinds of shark
they have no bones in their bodies. They probably can’t see colours ,but they blood from

Technical schools are very important. About 60 % of students in Egypt go to technical
secondary schools. They learn skills to use in the world of work. These skills are important for
the future of the country They also study different fields. Students who do well at technical
schools can continue the same study at universities. They can get good jobs. All technical jobs

A great scientist visited our school yesterday. I asked him why the sky is blue. He said that it
because we see blue light from the sun. Also, I asked him what clouds were made of. He said
that they were made of tiny pieces of ice and water. Also, he told us that we can grow more
vegetables in the desert in the future. He was a clever scientist.

Animals that lived in the past

Life of animals in the past were easier than today. . Animals, in the past, enjoyed a clean
environment. Their life was enjoyable. Man has polluted everything. Their environment
and food weren't in danger. People cut down more trees to use its wood. These forests were as
a natural home for most of these animals. We should look after the environment.
A story with a moral.
One day ,a farmer found that his goose had laid a yellow egg. When he picked it up, it was
heavy .He found out that it was a golden egg. Every morning, the same thing happened. The
farmer soon became very rich. He sold all the golden eggs in the market. He decided to kill the
goose to take all the golden eggs inside it. He didn't find anything. We learn that we shouldn't
be greedy.
Solar system

Our solar system includes the sun and some planets. There are eight planets. They are all
different sizes. The biggest planet is Jupiter. Three of the planets are smaller than earth. Two
planets don’t have any moons. We live on earth. The earth’s moon is round.
A visit to the Egyptian Observatory
Last week, I visited the Egyptian Observatory. I went there with my friends. One of the
scientists welcomed us. We asked him about his work at the observatory. We asked him how he
looked at and study our solar system. He gave us very useful information about the planets and
stars. He let us look through the huge telescope. We enjoyed the visit so much.

The dangers of smoking

Smoking is a harmful habit. It damages health .It causes lung diseases. People who smoke
can't run or breathe well. Also, they can't do many jobs. They should do some sports. We
should help them give up smoking .
Some useful advice a teacher or friend has given you
My teachers are very helpful. I like them all .The teacher of English is very kind. He gave us
some useful advice last week. He advised us not to waste our time. He also advised us to study
hard. He advised us to read a lot to widen our minds. Finally, He told us to obey our parents . I
will follow his advice .
A situation when someone tried to persuade you to do something but you refused.
Last week, I and my friend, Ayman, went to the cinema. During the film, I saw him taking a
packet of cigarettes out of his pocket. He offered me one and tried to persuade me to smoke. I
refused angrily telling him that he must stop smoking at once. Smoking is very dangerous. It
can lead to heart and lungs disease. At last, he promised to stop it.

 A visit to the Red Sea

The Red Sea is one of the warmest seas in the world. There are hundreds of fish and sea
animals that live there. There are many kinds of fish like stingrays and sailfish. There are
many kinds of sharks in the Red sea. You can also enjoy watching the beautiful green turtles.
What surprises me is that you can see dangerous coral in the Red sea. There are many lovely
beaches along the Red Sea.

The camel is the animal I like most. It is called the ship of the desert. It is very patient. It can
store too much water in its body. It can walk for many days without drinking. It is a very
useful animal. People in deserts can't do without it

The changes in your school over the last five years

My school is very old. It was built 30 years ago. Some changes have happened to my school.
Two buildings have been added to the school. In the past, there were 20 classrooms. Now,
there are 30 classrooms. Many trees have been planted in the school garden. I like my school
very much.

I'd like to be a tour guide in the future. This job helps me to study many languages. I can
communicate with tourists in English. I like helping tourists. When I become a tour guide. I will
visit many historical places. This job helps me to show nice things about my country. It is a
fantastic job.

Transport is very important nowadays. there are different ways to travel in Egypt. You
can use trains , buses, boats and planes . trains are faster than buses. Boats are slow
