Summary of Comments:
As the largest kosher store in the area, Kosher Mart’s offerings are
large and so are its challenges. Customers appreciate the renovations
and enjoy the large selection of goods in general, and Israeli products
and wines in particular. The owners receive positive remarks from the
community; unfortunately, their staff needs improvement: - they are
described as uninterested in assisting customers/answering questions,
unfriendly, and inattentive (especially at the prepared foods and deli
counter). Patrons mentioned that there did not appear to be enough
staff on hand. Cleanliness is still a challenge here. Customers are
frustrated that items are sold past expiration dates. Last, customers find
it hard to find prices on products, and do not want to locate a scanner to
get that information.

Summary of Comments:
While the survey was underway, Ben Yehuda had
undergone a change in ownership/management. Thus,
both the numerical scores and written comments reflect a
mix of the approach of the previous owner as well as the
new one. That being said, survey takers had positive
words about the new owner and the changes that have
occurred under his early leadership. Comments hit a
range of topics, including requests for more healthier
dining options, need for more supervision of employees,
request for more attention to cleaning the premises, and
items on the menu not being available.
