Scribd Raises $13 Million in Series C Financing

SAN FRANCISCO – January 18, 2011 – Scribd, Inc. today announced that it has closed $13
million in Series C financing led by MLC Investments of Australia and SVB Capital, with re-
investment from all previous investors, including Redpoint Ventures, Charles River Ventures
and Kinsey Hills Group.
