Note: Students in grades 1 and 2 may repeat fist incident column consequences. Kindergarten teachers and Kinderacademy teachers will use
more immediate brief consequences. Behaviors that lead to administrative determination will result in either an in-school or out of school
suspension. Administration reserves the right to modify the consequence based on the behavior.
Out of School Suspensions for Elementary Students can be up to 10 days. Students who are on an Individual Education Plan through Special
Education Services must have a Manifestation of the Individual Education Plan meeting before the tenth day of total suspensions for a given
school year.
In School and Out of School Suspensions do become part of a child’s permanent record.
