▪ FISIOPATOLOGIA:
▪ Discute-se:

○ Inflamação do mucosa nasal com dano neurológico, via hematogênica

○ Infecção por expressão de dois receptores em uma célula de destino

(ACE2 e PMPRSS2), em células ciliadas nas vias aéreas e epitélio
olfativo. O paladar não expressa esses receptores, o que sugere um
envolvimento mais central.
