Major Project: Sales Information Reporting System

Development Environment : DataStage 7.5 and Oracle 10g

Role : ETL developer
Duration : 4 Months
Description:
The main objective of this project is to analyze the sales information. Currently
Such Company has over 300 distinct systems associated with orders and sales data. These
instances are at various locations throughout the global. The data mart gets data from
different heterogeneous relational i.e Oracle and flat file sources. Design has been done to
replace the existing code into DataStage. Logic has been designed through DataStage
mappings to cleanse the data and load the data into the data mart. And through reporting
tool Cognos is used to develop the reports according to the client’s requirement.
The major advantages of dynamic ads code generator is a powerful HTML code
generator to create different types of advertisements for specific areas of web site where the
adv have to be published, the generated code can be easily be hosted on websites. This also
maintains Information of users of the application, advertisers info, banners currently hosted
with their zones, advertisement positions and click log.
