As we enter this season of reflection and contemplation, we will follow Choral Festival at
Jesus from the wilderness to the cross. We will also spend time looking at Westminster (p.5)
the lives of the early Christians as told in Acts. We will seek to further
understand what it means to be a faith community as we mine these stories of
the followers of the Way of Jesus. During the forty days of Lent there will be
opportunities for worship and education on the subjects the practice creating
a healthy mind, body and spirit.
For the Lenten devotional you are invited to reflect on what feeds your
hungry heart. What scriptures or other sacred texts nourish your walk with
God? How have you seen the hearts of others be fed? And where have you
encountered places where the hunger for the experience of the Holy is being
neglected? Please submit your offerings of prayers, poetry or short devotional
