During a site investigation conducted on September 4, 2020, our office made the following observation: ‘+The kitchen was observed to have the hand wash sink, three bay sink, hot holding and refrigeration equipment inaccessible. LAW VIOLATIONS: Section 19-13-B42 of the Connecticut Public Health Code (hups://eregulations.ci,gov/eRegsPortal/Browse/getDocument?guid=%7BF2EABS79- 78B9-43A1-8B73-7ACESB2DC9DD%7D ) AUTHORITY: Sections 192-206, 19a-207 & 19a-244 of the Connecticut General Statutes PENALTY: Sections 194-36, 192-206 & 19a-230 of the Connecticut General Statutes APPEAL: Section 194-229 of the Connecticut General Statutes (see enclosed) By the authority of the East Shore District Health Department, the owner of the premises at Mojito Bar Café, 460 Main Street, East Haven, Connecticut, is hereby ordered to cease and desist all operations immediately. The owner! operator must submit a Corrective Action Plan detailing how these violations will be abated and contact ESDHD to schedule an inspection prior to re-opening.
