Scale/Pay Band: Rs.37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs 10,000 plus allowances
QUALIFICATIONS - ESSENTIAL :
1. Master's degree in library science/information
science/documentation with at least 55% of the marks or its
equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and
consistently good academic record;
2. At least thirteen years as a Deputy Librarian in a
university library or eighteen years' experience as a
College Librarian.
3. Evidence of innovative library service and organisation of
published work.
DESIRABLE :
M.Phil. /Ph.D. degree in library science/information
science/ documentation/ archives and manuscript-keeping.
02. Principal, Women's Polytechnic (1)
Scale/Pay Band: Rs.37400-67000 Grade Pay Rs 10000 plus allowances
Master's Degree in approriate branch of Engineering / Technology
with First Class at Master's OR Bachelor's level.
15 years expereience in teaching out of which at least 5 years
shall be at the level of Head of section or equivalent.

Ph.D. in appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology 10 years

Comparable experience in research establishment and/or other
Institutions of Higher education.

Sufficient experience of Development Packages on RDBMS viz.
SYBASE, ORACLE 8i/ POWER BUILDER/ DESIGNER FORMS & etc.
Note: The minimum requirement of 55% marks at the Master's level
shall not be insisted upon for recruitment on the post of Deputy
Registrar for the existing incumbents who are already in the AMU
system. The minimum requirement in their case shall be at least
50% marks at the Master's level.
04. Workshop Superintendent (1), University Polytechnic.
QUALIFICATION-ESSENTIAL :
Atleast a second class Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engg or
its equivalent. Five years in a reputed Industry or Workshop
preferably in a teaching Workshop.
05. Jr. Instrumentation Officer, Department of Chemistry

(i) At least a Second Class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry/ Physics/
Instrumentation or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/
Electronics Engineering or in instrument Technology of a
recognized Indian or Foreign University.
(ii) Three years experience in operation/ maintenance/ repairs
of various electronic and analytical instruments (Eg. Mass
spectrometer, vapour meter, cary M, 60 spectropolarimeter,
NMR spectrometer, vapour phase, chromatograph etc.) in a
chemical/ physical Laboratory of a recognised Research
institution or reputed industrial undertakings.
Desirable: Experience abroad.
Note: The academic qualifications may be relaxed in favour of
those candidates who are otherwise suitable and have put in
atleast 10 years services in the immediately lower grade in job
or trade in this University.
06. Assistant Registrars, AMU (2)
1. A Post-graduate degree with at least 55% marks or its
equivalent grade.
2. Five years administrative experience as Section Officer
(Admin) or in an equivalent post in an academic
Institution/Government Office/Public undertaking/
Multinational Corporation / Private reputed Companies.
Desirable: Sufficient experience of Development of Packages on

Desirable : Ability to handle Computerised equpiments for

M.B.B.S. from a recognised Unievrsity with Postgradtae

Administration for atleast three years in a supervisory capacity
in a Central or State Government Hospital preferably in a
teaching Hospital.
