I. Purpose:

The purpose of this guideline is to improve roleplaying rules in an event of an LSPD


operation.

II. Scope:

This will cover all EMS, MDs, CMED and LSPD currently on an event of an operation. This
guideline is in effect only if there is a CMED on DUTY and only during the event of an operation.
Announcement of CODE 4 will deactivate this guideline and normal EMS protocols will be
followed

III. Definition of terms :


a. Prop Medbag – medical bag used by the EMS. (/omedbag)
b. HELO – chopper / helicopter
c. LEO – Law enforcement officer
d. CMED – Combat Medic
e. AOH – Area of Hurt
f. BPM – Beats per Minute
g. Assessment – checking of current condition (/med)
h. TSI – Serious Injury Treatment option
i. HSW – Heal Small Wounds Treatment Option

V. Guidelines:
a. CMED ROLE
i. CMED is the only person allowed to activate EMS during an operation which
include calling for EMS back-up and pronouncing CODE 4 thru chat
ii. Treat LEO during the operation
iii. May be requested to man HELO for thermal navigation and hostage pick-up

b. CMED is required to:


i. Establish a treatment area within the operation area by placing a PROP
MEDBAG as a marker for area of treatment. Medbag cannot be moved once it
has been placed on a selected area for treatment.
ii. Inform EMS on the ongoing operation stating number of LSPD and ROBBERS in
the event (done thru radio)

c. Treatment
i. Treatment should be done within the placed prop medbag. (proximity voice
option 2)

ii. Treatment Qualifications:


1. BPM is 15 above and AOH is “unknown”
2. LEOs who are part of the operation are the only qualified
3. Criminals who are cuffed may be treated in the area upon request by
the LEO

iii. Treatment Restrictions:


1. Treatment is not allowed if treatment qualifications are not met
2. LEOs are only allowed to be treated twice during the operation. (CMED
will tally treatment based on ID)
3. No bandage will be given out during an operation

iv. Treatment Conditions:


1. Assessment is only activated by request of a LEO
2. Assessment results and corresponding actions:

Above 15 BPM and AOH “unknown” Treat LEO with TSI
AOH “Leg and Arms” Treat LEO with HSW until max health
AOH : “BODY” or “HEAD” or below 15 BPM No Treatment will be done. Advice LEO to head
back to HP for treatment***

***LEO has the choice to head back to HP and get treated if they want to or take the risk of not being
treated and continue with the operation
