Aryana Research & development institute was established in 2009, it works under the
Ministry of Interior. Its main focus is to monitor the Academic Courses of the Deni Madaris
and providing the scholarships to the students. My responsibilities are:

• To conduct the survey in specified Union Council on daily basis


• Reporting to the head office on daily basis
• To monitor the overall process

SDPI-ISLAMABAD

Sustainable Development Policy Institute was founded in August 1992 on the


recommendation of the Pakistan National Conservation Strategy (NCS), also called
Pakistan’s Agenda 21. SDPI, as a policy-oriented research institute, has had to re-establish
relationships with government each time the administration has changed. Despite this
relatively unstable political environment, SDPI has, and will continue, to produce quality
policy research and advocate democratic governance and pro-people initiatives. I was
working as a Survey Officer for the survey on “Enhancement of religious understanding and
promotion of tolerance in education” in Peshawar and Allai. My key responsibilities were;

- Identifying deserving beneficiaries affected by 2010 flood in Charsadda.
- Distribution of Agriculture inputs to them
- Identification of affected irrigation channels in outdated by flood 2010.
- De siltation, Re construction and maintenance of Irrigation channels.
- Making contract with and organizing local communities in the most appropriate forms
of organization.
- Training community committee chair person and activists in the basics of organizing
communities and identification of deserving beneficiaries.
- Training concerned local persons in maintaining records, organizing savings and
developing plans for the utilization of skill training at the community level.
- Exchanging ideas and experiences with management and field staff as to inculcate the
spirit of debate and discussion within NRSP.
- Studying existing organizational structure in your region and identifying area of
immediate concern and high priority around which community groups can be
organized.
