Notes on handling
Standard packing According to the factory standard, special pallets available after the payment
of an extra charge.
Unloading and storage On the part of the customer, adequate storage place at the place of installation should
be provided for the storage of the materials to be assembled. The packages with the
profile sheets and accessories must be unloaded with suitable lifting gear. With the use
of cranes unloading should be undertaken with 10cm wide, rubberized belts. The edges
of the stacked profile sheets are to be protected against mechanical damages.
Only in unavoidable cases (if no specific cross bars are available with the hoisting belts)
may guy ropes be guided over the profile sheet edges; at the same time the metal angle
beads are to be inserted. Indentations cannot always be avoided.
With pallets over 10 m in length a crossbar is to be used when unloading.

Standard packing According to the factory standard
Special forms If certain pack weights must not be exceeded, and/or if it must be packed separately according
7.00 to building parts, this is to be indicated with the order, so that potentially incurred, higher packing
costs can be articulated and agreed.
General unloading Pack pieces with lengths above 10 m have to be unloaded with a crossbar.
The cantilever at the end of the crossbar should not exceed 4.5m.
For the attaching of the pack pieces the belts or ropes with edge protection must be used.
Please pay attention to our explanations in the Kalzip® fixing manual.
In order to achive optimum truck efficiency, dimensions and weights can be transgressed
in individual cases.
