Fixes for Known Faults
The following issue with previous software versions has
been fixed in this release:
■ Users can access a hidden page that contains
configuration information, such as wireless security
settings and network keys. Using this information,
unauthorized users may be able to successfully
associate with the ADSL Wireless Firewall Router.
Important Information
Security patch added in this release.
Approved Channels in the US
In the United States of America, use of this product is
only authorized for channels 1 to 11.
Idle Time
If the Router is used with a pay-per-minute service
provider, it is important that the Idle Time is correctly
configured. The Idle Timer specifies the amount of
inactivity before the Router disconnects from the ISP.
The Router will automatically re-establish the Internet
connection when it sees internet-bound activity on the
LAN.
Pay-per-minute Broadband Users
Users on a pay-per-minute broadband service should be
aware that applications such as anti-virus software,
Windows updates and other Operating System activities
can cause the Internet connection to be re-established.
To ensure this does not happen, power down all
computers on the network when they are not in use.
NAT
When NAT is set to off, then the Virtual Server and
Special Applications functionality is not available.

WDS
Note that your wireless encryption settings will be
applied to WDS links. WPA is not supported with
WDS.

Power Supply
This Router requires a 12V DC power source. Only use
the power supply that is supplied with the Router.
