•Revived natural and wild life
•Bio-gas plants

The totality of KKTE’s enterprise provides a unique yet replicable


model for green business, social business and for premium
branding in the global market.
ORGANIC: THE WAY OF NATURE

• No artificial/chemical inputs.
• Nature’s own processes to fertilize plants and control pests.
BIO-FERTILIZER:

• Own dairy farm and


• A dairy farmers’ co-operative.

Cow dung from these two sources are the key ingredient of
our bio-fertilizers.
THE CO-OPERATIVE:

• Started in August, 2005


• Open to workers and neighbors
• Non-cash repayment
• A win-win formula
THE CO-OPERATIVE:

• Lent over 1444 cows to-date


• Over 737 members have already fully repaid
SOCIAL IMPACT OF CO OPERATIVE:

• The Co-op fosters local enterprise, especially among women

• Most member increased income by 50% in two to three years of time.
