Disciplina: Mulheres e as Relações Internacionais: exclusão e invisibilidade

Objetivos e meios:
Inspirado pela pergunta levantada por Cynthia Enloe, “onde estão as mulheres?”,
o curso busca evidenciar as diferentes posições que as mulheres assumiram e assumem
nas Relações Internacionais. Ao debater o papel e impacto de esposas, mães, prostitutas,
combatentes, vítimas, ativistas, também se objetiva discutir os mecanismos discursivos
que permitem a exclusão e a invisibilidade dessas experiências e, ao mesmo tempo, o
favorecimento de experiências aparentemente neutras. O curso será ministrado através de
aulas expositivas e debates sobre os textos indicados.

Avaliação:
A primeira avaliação, será uma prova, individual e sem consulta. valendo 10
pontos. Tal prova será baseada no conteúdo tratado nas aulas anteriores. A segunda será
na forma de um ensaio (enviado por e-mail) feito em dupla, também valendo 10 pontos,
com, no mínimo, cinco páginas, formatado na ABNT (Times New Roman 12,
espaçamento 1.5), com referências bibliográficas. Não é necessário que o ensaio seja
sobre um tema tratado no curso. Porém é obrigatório que o ensaio trate do tema escolhido
a partir de uma perspectiva de gênero e que contenha na bibliografia pelo menos um texto
dado em sala de aula.
