Job Announcement

Cambodian Disabled People’s Organisation (CDPO) is a membership based non-governmental


organisation of people with disabilities established to represent formally people with disabilities in
Cambodia. CDPO is looking for a qualified person for the post of Technical Support Team Leader
(TSTL) for Ten Months (possibility to renew based on fund available and performance.) The
primary mission of the TSTL for Disabled People’s Organisation (DPO) Development is to improve
the capacity of CDPO’s member DPOs so they can achieve their goals, and to monitor and evaluate
their progress.
Main Responsibilities:

1. DPO Development: Coaching DPO leaders’ skills, monitoring and evaluating progress,
identifying skills training needs, developing and maintaining active networks NGO working in
providing services, conducting and analyzing simple surveys, facilitating network meetings,
assisting with mapping provincial and district providers/agencies.
2. HR Management: Conducting performance appraisals of staff, inducting staff, mediation and
conflict resolution of staff, conducting skills and capabilities assessments of staff, motivating,
monitoring and evaluating performance of staff.
3. Budgeting: Developing budgets for national operational plans, maintaining financial records
4. Planning and Administration: Maintaining/filing records, compiling programme reports,
measuring and reporting on impact, developing national operational plans, maintaining and
updating membership database.
- Other tasks as required

Selection Criteria:
- University degree in management or development studies
- At least five years working experience in the development/NGO sector in Cambodia
- At least three years experience working with community development or self help group in the
remote area
- Experience working with Commune Council, local authorities, rural NGOs, public service
providers, Pagodas,
- Sound knowledge of the rights based approach to development
- Commitment to and sound knowledge of disability rights and issues in Cambodia
- Proven experience of managing projects and programs, including monitoring and evaluation
- Excellent facilitation, training and coaching skills
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English and Khmer
- Proven fundraising experience
- Proven networking skills
- Mobile, able to regularly travel within Cambodia by herself
