We hope you all enjoyed your CWW experience and that you have taken away with you a deeper appreciation
for your classmates and the community you served. Let’s keep the spirit of team building and service alive!
There are a number of ways to make a difference and contribute your time, energy and talents. What route
will you take? What service learning activity can you get involved in?

This week during assembly you will hear about course offerings for next school year. Please listen carefully to
the information. Starting next Wednesday, March 2nd, course registration will begin. We advise you to speak to
your parents about your elective choices. If you have any questions about course choices, please talk to Ms.
Van Der Merwe or Mr. St. Laurent.

 MATHCOUNTS ANNOUNCEMENT
MATHCOUNTS is back on for semester 2. Join the fun as we explore cool math problems and throw in
some real-life puzzles in the mix. Plus, there is the chance to represent ISM in May at the National Com-
petition at Disney World, Florida, USA. It is in room 2067, High School Faculty Tower, from 3:00 to 5:00
P.M. Bring your calculator and check out the blog at mathcounts (ism-online.org).

MATHCOUNTS CHAPTER COMPETITION is on Friday, February 25th, 3:00 - 5:00 P.M. in room 1057. This is
your chance to make the MATHCOUNTS school team (top 8 scores make it) and to possibly represent ISM
at the National Competition at Disney World, Florida. Bring your calcula-
tor. See me during MATHCOUNTS for more details.

check the newly refurbished ATAC Blog. Weekly up-
dates/newsletter items and other information related to
the ISM ATAC extracurricular program and seasonal
sports can be found here as well as links to the latest
game schedule and IASAS website are available.
GAME SCHEDULE PDF: (new procedure in place for ac-
cess to game schedule pdf information)
Information about all mid week/weekend fixtures for ISM
teams can be found via the ATAC blog. You can also ac-
cess this information via the ES/MS/HS divisional web
pages. Please note the game schedule does change often
due to involvement with many local schools so please
check the page regularly to find out the latest informa-
tion of where and when the Bearcats teams are playing.
Click on schedules tab or the Bearcat logo to be directed
to the http://powerschool.ismanila.org/public/ . You
will need your power school user name and ID# to access
the game schedule pdf now located in power school.
Regular Opening Hours for the Bearcat Den:
♦ Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11:30 A.M. – 1:00
P.M. and 2:30–4:00 P.M.
♦ Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:30-4:00 P.M.

joining our group of volunteers in the Bearcat Den, please
contact our BCD volunteers coordination Chantel
(fam.wanten@hotmail.com) or pop in to the Den near the
HS Cafeteria and talk with one of our volunteers. They will
be very happy to make you welcome.

We are currently accepting housing offers for the 80 visiting
Badminton athletes if you can help with housing please read
