skirt! is published monthly. We reserve the right to edit or reject any
material which may be deemed unsuitable for our publication.

Frequency & Contract Terms: Frequency discounts are available

on a 3 month, 6 month and 12 month basis. In order to receive the
12x multiple insertion rate, ads must appear in consecutive issues.
Payment: First-time advertisers will be asked to include payment when
the ad is placed. Regular accounts will be billed, with payment due upon
receipt of the invoice. All prices are net.
Placement: Position requests are given full consideration, but the
publisher cannot be held liable for failure to accommodate said requests.
Make Good Policy: Errors in ads must be reported to your account
Distribution representative within 2 weeks of publication. At that time, any errors on
the part of skirt! will be considered for a make-good by the publisher.
Policies & Specs skirt! is not responsible for errors overlooked by advertisers
after an ad has been proofed and approved.

skirt!-designed ads stand out because of their quality and clean, stylish
look. We are happy to provide this service for you. Ads created by
skirt! must run in skirt! prior to appearing in any other publi-
cation. Client must provide logos and/or specific photos and
illustrations to be used in the ad. Client will receive one proof.
Please proof for typographical errors as skirt! will not be
responsible for errors once the ad has been approved.

All camera-ready ads must be a pdf, jpeg, tiff or eps. We do not
accept raw files for camera-ready art.
Note: please make sure all fonts are embedded or outlined to prevent
font problems.
When making pdfs: turn OPI off and make sure that all layers
have been flattened prior to making a pdf.
• Ads must have a laser proof.
• Line screen is 85 lines per inch.
• Scan images no larger than 300 dpi and the file size can be no
larger than 10 megabytes.
• Ads smaller than a full page must have at least a .5 ruled border.
Incorrectly sized ads may be rebordered or resized at the ­discretion
of skirt! and you will be charged a production fee to fix your ad.

 2011 Print Advertising Agreement

skirt! magazine is hereby authorized to publish________________size ad(s) for__________________issue(s).

Ad space will cost $___________________per issue, based on the skirt! magazine rate card currently in effect.
Terms of Trading: As stated in the current Rate Card
First-time advertisers will be asked to include payment
when the ad is placed. Regular accounts will be billed, with
payment due upon receipt of the invoice. All prices are net.
skirt!® reserves the right to refuse any ad it deems
unacceptable for the publication, without explanation.
Ads cannot be cancelled after ad space deadline as it ap-
pears in the current rate card. Submission of copy is the
responsibility of the Advertiser. Copy from last insertion
will run if new copy is not received by applicable ad space
deadline shown on the current rate card.
If no previous insertion is available, Advertiser is liable for
cost of contracted space. If an ad is not submitted by ad space
deadline, and no previous insertion is available, skirt!®, in
its sole discretion, may opt to use such space for another
advertisement; barring this, Advertiser shall still be liable for
the full contract rate. skirt!® reserves the right to refuse to
publish ads for delinquent accounts.
I understand that failure to fulfill this
contract will result in short rating. If fre-
quency/revenue agreement is not fulfilled,
the cost of all space used from the effective
date of the contract shall revert to the
appropriate rate for which I did qualify.
I understand that if I choose to extend
my contract prior to the expiration of this
contract period, fulfillment under the initial
contract will apply toward the extended
contract, and may increase the discount
level for the additional weeks.
Failure to acknowledge or return proof
will not alter contract payment terms or
obligations.
skirt!® guarantees the delivery of this
publication; however, skirt!® does not
guarantee an exact publication date.
In the event that Advertiser in
accordance with conditions of this
Contract does not make payments;
Advertiser agrees to pay for rea-
sonable fees incurred by skirt!® in
collection of this account, includ-
ing, but not limited to, reasonable
attorney’s fees, collection agency
fees, court costs, etc.
The skirt!® shall not be liable to
the advertiser for delays in the
publication, damages resulting
from failure to include all or any
of said items of advertising, or
from errors in the advertising, in
excess of the monies paid for such

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

In consideration of the providing of advertising and related services by Morris Publishing Group LLC (“MPG”), now and/or in the future, the undersigned
Applicant, through its Authorizing Signatory, hereby (i) implies to MPG and request MPG establish a credit account for use by the Company and all Au-
thorized Users designated by Company; (ii) agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions of the Customer Agreement, as may be amended from time to
time and sent to them after the account is opened, including the provision that the Customer Agreement and the account will be governed by Georgia and
federal law; (iii) acknowledges and agrees that the account will be used solely for business or commercial purposes and not for personal, family or household
purposes; (iv) agrees that the Company will be liable for all transactions made on the account, including transactions by anyone designated as an Authorized
User; (v) acknowledges that each Authorized User is duly employed by the Company or is an agent-in-fact of the Company; (vi)) agrees to be liable for all
charges on the account; (vii) authorizes the receipt and exchange of credit information on the Company; and (viii) agrees to be governed by the following:

Agreement Terms. Applicant understands that these agreement terms are subject to change. Applicant understands that the Authorizing Signatory must be
18 years or older and a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien, and that the Company must be a U.S. business to qualify for this offer. Applicant understands
that approval is based upon satisfying MPG’s credit standards. Applicant understands that this application will be retained whether or not it is approved.

Payment Terms. All invoices (including applicable sales taxes) are due net 30 days. Company shall pay all applicable taxes. If any invoice is not paid within
stated terms, then MPG reserves the right to suspend its performance at any time and/or cancel the account without notice. All disputes of any kind must be
reported in writing to MPG no later than 30 days from the date the invoice containing such disputed item or such item will be deemed correct and conclu-
sively accepted by Company. The Company waives any claim after said 30-day period. Submission of a written dispute notice by Company shall not relieve
Company of its obligation to timely pay all undisputed amounts. If Company breaches this Agreement, then Company agrees to pay all of MPG’s collection
agency fees and expenses, investigation, court and litigation expenses along with attorney fees equal to the greater of: (i) 15% of the amount owed, or (ii) the
amount awarded by the court. All actions related to Company’s account and collection thereon shall be brought in any state and county where Company is
located. In the case where Company fails to answer a complaint concerning an unpaid balance, MPG shall be entitled to attorney’s fees in an amount equal
to 15% of the unpaid balance.

Waiver of Jury Trial. In any action to enforce or interpret this agreement, Company and MPG waive trial by jury.

Additional Terms and Conditions. The Authorizing Signatory represents that he or she as the authority to do so and that by its execution he or she has
caused Company to be bound hereby. If credit is approved, MPG reserves the right to cancel credit at any time with or without notice for any reason what-
soever. Company agrees that should it place advertising through an advertising agency (or other third parties) that Company will continue to be obligated
to MPG for payment in full. In the event Company is an agency requesting advertising on behalf of a client, Company represents that it has the authority to
bind such client and Company agrees that Company is jointly and severally obligated along with its client/principal for the payment of such advertising under
the terms set forth herein. Any handwritten changes to this contract or any contrary language written as a part of an insertion order will be disregarded and
unenforceable unless agreed by MPG in writing. Company certifies that (i) all statements and information included in this application (including all financial
statements and attachments) are true, correct and complete and are made for the purpose of inducing MPG to extend credit to Company and (ii) all officers,
owners, or Authorized Users of Company are authorized to purchase advertising and MPG can rely on directions, order or instructions from any of them.
MPG is hereby authorized to verify any and all statements through any source available to it. MPG retains all rights of ownership in and to all advertisements
designed or created by MPG. MPG is not obliged to return ads or ad materials to Company. Company hereby grants a non-exclusive license to MPG for all
copyrights and other ownership rights in any advertisement of Company which is submitted for insertion. Company agrees to indemnify MPG for any and
all costs, claims, damages, and/or liability claimed against or incurred by MPG as a result of MPG’s publication of any ad copy submitted by Company (or
submitted on behalf of Company) to MPG. Company represents, warrants and guarantees that any ad copy so submitted to MPG is accurate, truthful and in
compliance with all copyright laws and all other applicable laws and regulations. MPG is not liable for failure to publish ads or distribute its publications be-
cause of flood, fire, riots, strikes, terrorists, storms, shortages of material, orders of government, failure of transportation, acts of God or other causes beyond
MPG’s control. This Agreement may be executed in one or more counterparts, each of which shall constitute an original and all of which shall constitute one
and the same document. A legible facsimile copy of this Agreement when fully executed shall be considered an original copy of this Agreement. IN THE
EVENT OF ANY ALLEGED BREACH BY MPG OF THIS AGREEMENT OR ANY OTHER CLAIMS BY COMPANY OR ANY OTHER PARTY, MPG
SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE LESSER OF ANY AMOUNT WHICH (I) EXCEEDS OF THE COST OF
THE ADVERTISEMENT; OR, (II) THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY COMPANY TO MPG. MPG’S PAYMENT OF SUCH AMOUNT SHALL BE
COMPANY’S EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND AGREED UPON LIQUIDATED DAMAGES.
