The Logical Song - Supertramp
When I was young I know it sounds absurd
It seemed that life was so wonderful But please tell me who I am
A miracle, oh it was beautiful,
magical Now watch what you say
And all the birds in the trees Or they'll be calling you a radical
Well they'd be singing so happily A liberal, oh fanatical, criminal
Oh joyfully, oh playfully watching me Oh won't you sign up your name
But then they sent me away We'd like to feel you're
To teach me how to be sensible Acceptable, respectable, oh
Logical, oh responsible, practical presentable, a vegetable
And they showed me a world
Where I could be so dependable At night when all the world's sleep
Oh clinical, oh intellectual, cynical The questions run so deep
For such a simple man
There are times when all the world's Won't you please, please tell me
sleep what we've learned
The questions run too deep I know it sounds absurd
For such a simple man But please tell me who I am, who I
Won't you please, please tell me am, who I am, who I am
what we've learned
