On 02/25/2011, deputies assigned to Scio Township responded to the 5000 block of Jackson Avenue (West of
Luella Drive) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened an unlocked door to gain
entry. The time of occurrence was between 7:00 PM on 02/24/2011 through 9:50 AM on 02/25/2011. An unknown
amount of cash and a laptop computer were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

Wiard Road) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) opened an unlocked door to gain
entry. The time of occurrence was between 9:00 PM on 02/23/2011 through 10:40 AM on 02/25/2011. An unknown
amount of audio visual equipment was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

Fall River Road) for a burglary of a garage complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) pried open a rear
door to gain entry. The time of occurrence was between 12:00 AM on 02/11/2011 through 7:00 PM on 02/25/2011.
A GPS was taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

BURGLARY 11-9099

On 02/25/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 600 block of Belmont Drive (East of
Leforge Road) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) forced open a door to gain entry.
The time of occurrence was between 7:00 PM through 9:00 PM on 02/25/2011. Two video game systems and
miscellaneous video games were taken. There is no suspect information at this time.

HOMICIDE 11-9127

On 02/26/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the area of Nash Avenue and Mary Catherine
Street for a shots fired complaint. Metro Dispatch then advised the deputies that someone had been shot. Deputies
arrived and found one male victim laying in the yard of an address in the 1300 block of Nash Avenue. Huron Valley
Ambulance arrived shortly after the deputies and transported the victim to Saint Joseph Hospital where he was later
pronounced deceased. The victim has been identified as:

Marcus Tramale Jones Black Male 02/21/1978/ resident of Ypsilanti Township

It was later discovered that two other victims had been at shot at the same location and were transported to Saint
Joseph Hospital by private citizens with non-life threatening injuries.

The Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office Detective Bureau is currently investigation this incident.

BURGLARY 11-9215

On 02/26/2011, deputies assigned to Ypsilanti Township responded to the 800 block of Tyler Road (East of Emerick
Street) for a burglary complaint. The deputies determined the suspect(s) broke out a basement window, pried off the
screen and crawled through to gain entry. The time of occurrence was between 3:00 PM on 02/25/2011 through 7:30
PM on 02/26/2011. A handgun, shotgun, rifle, two MP3 players and miscellaneous jewelry were taken. There is no
suspect information at this time.
