Final Year Project:

“Paralytic Patient Communication Through Blinking Of Eyes”
The project’s main elements are Transmitter and Receiver (as the sensor) which will be connected through PLL
by 38 KHz Frequency. And 555 ic is for Timing Control. And at the output a Relay, and Parallel Port. In which
all the Programming will be given in Basic ‘c’ language allready.

Summer Training:
• Four weeks Industrial Training at “CETPA INFOTECH PRIVATE LTD.” GR.NOIDA on
“Embedded Systems” from 20th july-16th august .
• Industrial visit to Zee Networks, Noida.
Training:
One months training of RF Planning, Optimization & Drive Test Engg in MobileComm Pvt. Ltd.
Key learning:
During the training we came two know about different aspects of telecom Fields Such as Coverage & capacity
planning, Optimization and Drive test to tune the network . Also came to know about swapping, tilt,
orientation, handover, hopping, location update, RX level & RX quality, DTX, TA Interference etc. The
different responsibilities according to planning, Optimization & drive wise as follow:-
Planning Responsibilities:
• NETACT and ASSET 5 & 6 tools for nominal planning.
• Nominal planning includes green field planning or best fit planning with the help of available sharing sites.
• Calculation of cell radius with the help of K values for different clutter types.
• Deciding Antenna Type, Height, Orientation, Tilt etc. according to clutter.
• Generation of prediction plots and coverage statistics with the help of appropriate propagation models
according to clutter.
Optimization Responsibilities:

• To analyze statistical trend of KPI’s, to rank and optimize the cells affecting the Network KPI’s.
• Responsible for network LAC and SDCCH dimensioning.
• Frequency Planning using MIPT Tool, Finding CO-BCCH-BSIC combination, Check & Define Handover
with help of MIPT tool. Analysis of Drive Test files for taking care of External and Internal Interference in
the Network, which involves analysis of Rx quality, Rx Level etc.
• Prepare Drive test Plot of Coverage, Quality, & reports.
• Handover parameter definition, interference optimization, quality analysis
Drive test Responsibilities:
• Optimization of the network by changing physical parameters like Mechanical & Electrical tilt,
Antenna orientation etc for an optimum Coverage & Quality.
• Analysis & Troubleshooting with LOG files collected during Drive test.
• Drive testing using TEMS kit to verify the network performance & major KPIs (Rx Level, Rx Quality, SQI,
C/I, C/A, HO failure, Call Drop).
• The activities included foot printing of all the sites in order to control the site overshoot, Interference
Elimination, Finding Missing & One way Neighbors, Coverage holes.
• Used MapInfo to create thematic diagrams to present Rx Level, Rx Quality, SQI, dropped calls, blocked calls,
and HO failure.
