Waste disposal of cured DEGADUR®/DEGAROUTE® resins

Dear Madam or Sir,

Fully cured DEGADUR® / DEGAROUTE ® resins are inert polymeric

materials that do not pose any particular chemical hazards. Thus
DEGADUR ® / DEGAROUTE® wastes that are properly and completely
cured, such as residuals from DEGADUR® processing, may be disposed
of in combustion for consumer/domestic waste in general, unless local or
national waste management regulations do not instruct otherwise.

Unpolymerised residuals of virgin DEGADUR® / DEGAROUTE® resin

may be mixed with proper type and sufficient amount of hardener for
curing to prepare for disposal. For further information, such as curing time
and proper dosage of hardener you may consult the corresponding
technical data sheets.

Be aware of the risks of incomplete curing and heat generation in case of

resin in bulk containers. Full drums, for instance, must not be mixed with
hardener to avoid excessive heat generation.

Best regards
