02.03 FLOOR LOADING LIMITS

A.CABIN FLOOR

a) Structure
The floor structure is designed to support seats, loaded with 99 kg (218 lb), assuming four
seats per row separated by a minimum pitch of 0.762 m (30 in) between rows.

b) Panels
- Aisle floor
Each aisle floor panel is designed to support a load distribution of 400 Kg/sq.m (0.569 psi) with
no deformation, and a local indentation load of 0.921 kg/sq.mm (1310 psi) without any panel core
crushing. It is resistant to the impact of spike heeled shoes and maximum expected foot traffic,
when covered with carpet or floor covering.

- Under seat floor

Each under seat floor panel is designed to carry a surface distributed load of
200 kg/sq.m (0.284 psi), moreover it can sustain a local indentation load of
0.274 /sq.mm (390 psi)

- Entry area floor

Panels are capable of carrying surface distributed load of 450 kg/sq.m (0.640 psi), moreover they
can sustain a local indentation load of 0.921 kg/sq.mm (1310 psi).

B. CARGO COMPARTMENT FLOOR

a) Structure

The FWD and the AFT cargo compartment floor structure is designed to support a load
distribution of 510 kg/m (28.558 lb/in).

b) Panels

Each floor panel is designed to support a load distribution of 400 kg/sq.m

(0.569 psi) with no deformation, moreover it can bear a local indentation
load of 0.921 kg/sq.mm (1310 psi) without any panel core crushing.

02.04 CARGO COMPARTMENT LOADING

CAUTION

DURING LOAING OR UNLOADING OPERATION IT IS RECOMMENDED:

− TO MAINTAIN THE FORWARD CARGO LOAD ATLEAST EQUAL OR HIGHER THAN
THE AFT CARGO LOAD.
− TO ALLOW LESS THAN 10 PERSONS TO STAND IN THE REAR AISLE OR IN THE
REAR PAX ENTRANCE AREA IF THE REAR CARGO LOAD IS 200 KG(441 LB) MORE
THAN THE FORWARD CARGO LOAD.
− TO SUGGEST PASSENGERS TO SEAT, OR REMAIN SEATED, IN THE FORWARD
PART OF THE CABIN.

TO AVOID THIS PROCEDURE, THE TAIL PROP, ANTI TIP UP DEVICE, MUST BE
INSTALLED AS SHOWN ON FIGURE 11

CAUTION

− IT IS PROHIBITED TO CARRY LOOSE FREIGHT OR BAGGAGE OUT OF THE

SPECIFIC AREA.
− IT IS PROHIBITED TO LOAD ANY FREIGHT OR BAGGAGE WHICH CAN DAMMAGE
OR PASS THROUGH THE NET. ANOTHER FREIGHT OR BAGGAGE SHALL BE
LOADED IN-BETWEEN TO PREVENT FROM THIS RISK.

The ways of loading the cargo compartments are given in section CARGO.

For each compartment the holding system is supported by masts, nets and tie-down points.
In case of the damaged part of the holding system loading restrictions given in NETS
MALFUNCTION 02.04.04 LIMITATION must be applied.

EXAMPLE:

Assume aircraft is a gross weight of 11250kg (24802 lb) (A) and centre of gravity at 34% MAC
(B). The reaction at the two wing jacking points is 10493kg (22133 lb) (C) and the reaction at the
forward jacking point is 757kg (1663 lb) (D).

The aircraft must not be lifted outside with a wind speed that exceeds 40 KMPH.

02.06 AIRCRAFT STABILITY ON GROUND

Tip up right CG position is function of aircraft weight and attitude.

In practice the tip up CG position will be considered to be at 63% MAC,

H-arm= 12.865m (506.496 in).

NOTE: There is no usual loading configuration for which the CG is critical for static ground
stability.
