THE DREAM HOPEFUL OF ME

Mantingan, the west side of east java and the border place
betwen central java and east java is my hometown. Its just about
2km to reach central java region. Usually all of my friends call me
widak, but some time most of my family call me with aning,
because they know that aning is part of my complete name,
widak asriang. I have one brother. He is 11 years old, and i'm 19
years old. My father is a farmer, and my mother is just a
housewife. We always take a harvest every 3 month with
different product, such us corn, peanuts, soyben, and rice plant.
Although my hometown is in east java, I was student of
senior high school in central java, that's SMA N 1 Gondang. I
have been graduate from that school, then I decided to continue
my study in central java again, and I've been taking chemical
enginering in UNS. I now I'm 2nd semester student.
Chemical engineering is a technical science or engineering
that is studying about processing unripe goods to be more
benefit goods. The result of that process can be form into the
complete goods or the uncomplete form. The main goal of this
subject is applicated for the planning, the modification, and
safeguarding of the chemical processes in the small scale or the
large scale,such us in the factory.
In this century chemichal engineering has a big influence in
the developing process and the differences production process
of various product. That product has a high work for
interplanetary space necessary goods, automotive, biomedis,
electronics, and soldier. For example of the result product are
strong fibrous,textil material, glue, komposit material for vehicle
save material for implan and drugs.
The field of chemical engineering is so large, its including
biotechnology, nanotechnology, even mineral is included also.
The subjects that’s still have dark connection with chemical
engineering are bioprocess or we can call it biochemical ,
biomedis technique ,biomolekular technique, chemistry and
biotechnology.
Actually When I decided to continued my educatinon to
the college,I was so dizzy to choose which university I wanna
in,but one day i was steady to choose UNS. Because I heard
that chemical engineering subject in UNS is good, and I dreamed
being student of university state in indonesia, and UNS is one of
them. Not only that, this university is not far from my house also.
I am so fortunate girl to have a family with strong values
and belief. They have given me unconditional love which made
me to be so much confidant girl with a lot of creative ideas. I
loved chemistry, mathematics, and working in research
laboratories. I like to develop and optimize processes and
methods that would be to the benefit to the world. Chemical
engineering fulfilled my passion not only for chemistry, but also
understanding how processes work. In addition, thingking of
being an employee of nation oil factory had made me to think of
studying in this field because it serves well for its major
environmental concern and also make contributions to my
country in developing better environment.
I heard a lot of people were talking and wishing if they
could work for oil company, even I dreamed to work in ARAMCO
as an oil company I liked this company for its type of work and
well reputation; it is the largest divers company in Saudi Arabia.
Its highly requirements made it very hard for anyone to work in
ARAMCO. Knowing that many applicants were rejected made me
to study harder at college.
Not only that i dreamed i'll get scholarship at collage and
continue my education with scolarship in Japan also.
It would be hard to imagine a world without gasoline,
plastics, paper or any other chemical products used in daily life.
Chemical engineers are there to convert raw materials into end
products like food and fuels. In my early age, I was impressed on
how cars can run and where the fuel is coming from or how it is
made. So with all of my curiosity about chemichal
engineering, I interest in to choose this subject.
After studying about chemical engineering for one
semester, I had known about chemical engineering, although I
realized that my knowing about this still less. I was optimist if I
will know about it more, because my journey to learn about it still
need long way,but anything problem will I meet in the next time,
I must be optimist to pass it to be a good chemical scientist with
a hard work, hard struggle and hard learn.
I have many dream to be the good one that concern in
chemical engineering. I has been so proud I had mad my dream
come true one by one. I have been student of chemical
engineering in UNS and I think this is a good first step to make
my dream come true. Unfortunately I am lil bit disappoint for the
chemical laboratory in uns. I think it will be better if we add some
other laboratory in the certain place to make practical work run
well.
