Magnetic level gauges, On-off valves and Gate/Globe/Check valves

Tower. Substation -8 completed. OM plant and Nitrogen plant

for FGD Package on 22.02.2006. Award is pending with HPCL for quite a
long period Recommendation for award of Instrumentation tender for MS
Block issued on 14.10.2006 and Offsite, Mech I Piping part - B issued on
25.09.2006. Delay in award of these contracts is affecting progress of
work. Contract for Electrical work of units and Tankages work part - II

Plan issued for MRPL approval on 16.11.2006. Soil Investigation Work
awarded on 17.11.2006. Work on CPP feed package preparation
commenced. Land acquisition for Refinery facilities is in progress.

PUNJAB REFINERY PROJECT, GURU GOSIND SINGH REFINERIES

LTO, SATHINDA (GGSRL), Schedule is under finalisation.

Selection of Licensors for Process Unit is in progress. Process Design for

CDUNDU is in progress and Design Basis for SPM, Crude Pipeline &
COT under finalization. Finalisation of Plot Plan - Refinery is in progress.

17 Nos MRs of Static Equipment out of total 21 Nos, 10 Nos MRs of
Electrical+CP System out of 27 Nos, 22 MRs of Instrumentation out of 59
NOs and all 4 pumps MRs issued to rCM. Vendor drawing review for
Compressors and other major equipment is in progress. Ordering of
Equipment is in progress at Milan, Italy.

UPPC EXPANSION PROJECT, (GAIL)

Cum. Physical Progress- Sch.:94.9%, Act.:B9.0% (Schedule
Revised).

Out of total 213 Nos eqpt., 212 Nos ordered, 145 Nos received at site and
130 Nos erected. Rotary Dryer erected during the month. Civil Works:
RCC - 14,786 m3 completed out of total 15,550 m3. A1G Piping welding
59,793 10 completed out of total 125;150 10. Erection 67,035 1M
completed out of total 140,107 1M.

PANIPAT NAPHTHA CRACKER PROJECTS, (IOCL):Cum. Physical

Progress: Sch.: 11.9%, Act.:13.4%.

EPCC Package - 1(Naphtha Cracker Unit - Mis. Toyo Engg. Corpn. &
L&T): - P&IO review completed. Out of 626 Nos, 343 equipments
ordered. HAZOP Study in progress. Site activities commenced for Site

Work awarded to Mis Technimont ASPA Italy on 14.11.2006. HOPE:

& Structural, Tankages, Piping and Equipment Erection. Electrical works
in progress. Construction work for Alumina Calciner Package and
Evaporation Package are in advance stage of completion. Construction of
Raw water Intake Well and Pipeline Package, Raw Water Treatment
Package, Effluent treatment Plant and Cooling Tower is in progress.

IInd PHASE EXPANSION ALUMINA SMELTER PROJECT AT ANGUL,

(NALCO), Cum. Physical Proqress- Sch.:38.3%, Act.:19.0%.

MR for EOT crane 160T issued. Order placed for Stratified material
insulator, End panel tightness joint panel, BRO Bricks & Grouting
compound and Dry and wet air receivers. NIT issued for CS Strl section
and hot rolled tubes for PSS and enquiries issued for EOT crane
(refloated), Insulating hoses, Local isolation cabinets, flanges, HV cables,

EPCC - 1(OSBL Electrical Works): NAFTEC confirmed change overto

200 KV grid input to refinery on 07. J 1.2006. Compilation of Tech
Amendment NO.2 has been takenup accordingly. EPCC - 2(DCS and
Instrumentation Modernisation Works): NAFTEC reissued the tender on
restricted enquiry basis to 5 bidders. Bids due date extended upto
04.12.2006. EPCC - 3(CDU I Gas Plant I Rehabilitation of utilities and
Offsites): Bids due has been extended to 08.12.2006. Process Package
for Utilities & Offsites under advance stage of finalisation. EPCC-
4(Aromatic Block): FEED Package has been compiled and is in process
of dispatch. Evaluation of bids for Prequalification of bidder is in progress.
EPCC - 5 (LNISOM and adaptation Utilities and Offsites) & 6 (DHDS):
Due date for receipt of priced bids from LNISOM Process Licensor
extended to 05.12.2006. EPCC - 6 (DHDS incl. Sulphur Recovery
Unit): Due date for receipt of priced bids from DHDS Process Licensor
extended to 05.12.2006. EPCC - 7(Adaptation Area Site Grading):

receipt of offers for EPCC-02, this package has been split into 3 new
smaller packages EPCC-02, 03 & 04) After split tender published in
Baosem on 06.11.2006 with bid due date of 13.01.2007.

ADDITIONAL WORK: - EPCC Package 3 (Heater Revamp) Response

from NAFTEC awaited on proposed implementation philosophy to take up
the preparation of FEED Package. EPC Package 4 (New OWS I CRWS
Network In OSBL and New ETP) ) Tender published in Baosem on
20.11.2006 with bid due date of 2201.2007.
