AGAPE GROUPS

Agape Groups are small groups of men with men, and women with women,
who meet together weekly to hold each other accountable in the Christian
disciplines of prayer, Bible study and walking with the Lord. Agape Groups
are usually 1 ½ to 2 hours, and include prayer, Scripture memorization,
accountability, sharing prayer requests, and reporting on how you are doing
spiritually.

COMMITMENTS OF AGAPE GROUPS:

Accountability: This means you choose to be known and subject to
(Ephesians 5:21) one another, sharing honestly your failings as well as
victories. Regular review of spiritual disciplines will be shared with absolute
confidentiality maintained.

Gathering: The Agape Group commits to meeting weekly. This becomes the
context then for sharing, encouraging, admonishing, and praying.

Admonishing: This lost ministry in the church is an absolute necessity for our
Body to become and stay healthy (Romans 15:14). Admonish means to warn
or confront. Practice it diligently after you are sure you have God’s agape
love toward another member.

Prayer: Commit to intercede on each member’s behalf every day. You will
develop closeness as a group as you invest in each member’s life through
interceding on their behalf.

Encouragement: This is the heart of what God’s love does for another person.
It is God’s nature to encourage us, and He wants us to reflect His character to
each other.

New groups are formed every six months. If interested contact the church
office.

GET INVOLVED
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
It is our desire to minister to your child in a manner that will draw them closer
to our Lord Jesus Christ. Our goal is to provide a fun and secure environment
for children so that they can learn about God’s love through the Word and
worship of our Lord. We believe that God’s Word can be presented in ways
that will minister specifically to children and draw them into a closer
relationship with Him.

All children’s services are also blessed to have a time of musical worship. The
songs are geared to teach children to worship, using exciting and uplifting
music appropriate for their age level.

NURSERY offers loving care for infants and toddlers up to two years of age,
and is open during all services.

SUNDAY SCHOOL is available for all weekend services. We use curriculum

that offers a good balance of equipping the children with God’s Word and
applying it to every aspect of their life.

AWANA CLUB is an exciting club that meets on Wednesday nights at 6:45

pm for children ages 4 years old to 6th grade. The kids have lively worship
and lessons that point them to a deeper relationship with God. Awards and
team points are earned for scripture memorization and participation in our fun
theme nights. On Wednesday night, preschoolers are taught curriculum
prepared by Karen Henley and Discipleland.

SUMMER PROGRAM: Our summer program is scheduled on Wednesday

nights from June to the end of August. It is a weekly “VBS” type of study
filled with fun activities and lessons from God’s Word.

(over)
SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY: We believe that all children are created
in God’s image. Every child has value and purpose to God – and us! Our
desire is to help children with disabilities or special needs to experience
the joy of knowing they are valuable to God and to grow in their
understanding of God’s Word. We offer a special needs class that meets
in The Fortress classroom, as well as one-on-one aides whenever possible
to assist children in the general Sunday School program.

Please contact the Children’s Ministry for current information on when

our special needs class meets. If your child has a disability or special
need, please fill out our special needs form so that we may minister to
your child in the best way possible. Any information shared is kept
strictly confidential.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Each year hundreds of children and adult

workers join the fun for five jam-packed days of learning more about God,
exciting worship, fun and active games, and hands-on crafts. Watch the
bulletin for upcoming dates, and information on how to register your child
or help.

ROYAL RANGERS: One of the largest Christian boys’ adventure,

camping and mentoring programs, it’s a fantastic opportunity for boys in
grades K-12 to discover and develop a personal relationship with the Lord
Jesus Christ. Pick up a brochure for more information.

MPACT GIRLS: MPact Girls is a Christ-centered club for girls, where

girls learn biblical truths for living and impacting their world through
Bible stories, unit memory verses, class discussions, crafts, and games.
Currently, CCEA has classes for Kindergarten through 5th grade girls.
Girls can join anytime during the school year. Pick up the MPact Girls
brochure for more information.

at 714-695-9650 x316.
CRAFTSMEN FOR CHRIST
The goal of Craftsmen for Christ is to love our neighbor as ourselves and thus
“fulfill the law of Christ”. Our mission can be explained as follows:

• Help people in the name of God.
• Help people connect with God.

Craftsmen for Christ is an outreach ministry which offers “hands-on” support

for our church facilities and those in the body who cannot afford home
maintenance and repair. By offering your services, you’ll not only bless
others, but be blessed in return.

If you have one of the following skills and/or talents, Craftsmen for Christ
may be the ministry for you. Call the church office to find out how you can be
part of this ministry.

• Contractors
• Plumbers
• Roofing

“I have placed wisdom within every skilled craftsman in order to make all
that I have commanded you.” Exodus 31:6
FOOD MINISTRY
We have been given the responsibility to help the needy. Currently, there are
two ways in which you can become involved to accomplish this:

DOVETAIL is a ministry that provides free food staples, which we in turn

make available to families, individuals, and entire neighborhoods in need.
Special gift packs are given to help struggling families, convalescent residents,
the homeless, low income seniors, pregnancy care facilities, and even the
troops abroad. Help is needed packing these boxes once a month. Dovetail
Ministries is an all-volunteer organization and is solely supported by freewill
donations.

Due to the physicality of the packing, volunteers must be able to stand for a
long period of time. Join us on the second Tuesday of each month, as we meet
at the church to carpool to the food warehouse. While there, we’re served a
delicious lunch and enjoy each other's company at the same time. Watch your
bulletin for meeting times.

CONNECTED BLESSINGS is a food distribution ministry that shares the

abundance of God’s blessings with those in need. Volunteers help distribute
nourishing food to the needy. Connected Blessings has joined Calvary Chapel
East Anaheim’s ministry outreach in the downtown area of Anaheim. Each
week, food is distributed to those in need at the VFW Hall in Anaheim.

To get involved with Connected Blessings, join us at 8:00 am on Saturday

mornings to pack grocery bags.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
HOMESCHOOL
Abundant Life Homeschoolers (ALH) exists to provide support for
homeschool families of all ages, babies through high school, through
educational, ministry and fellowship opportunities.

Our regular activities include park days, nursing home visits, holiday
parties, Mom's Night Out, and field trips. You will also be able to join our
Yahoo Group. Here, you will be able to connect with all of our ALH
families, ask questions, share information, and access valuable homeschool
information, such as curriculum reviews, homeschool helps, subject
guides, etc.

All that is required to join is a completed Information Sheet. Call the

church office to obtain the paperwork or for more information.
HOOK DRAMA MINISTRIES
Hook Ministry exists to proclaim the name of Jesus Christ as Lord and
Savior of all and for all, in our Jerusalem, Judea, and to the uttermost
parts of the earth. We minister for the sake of His name and for His
glory in street ministry by use of evangelistic dramas.

We use a non-threatening device called a “hook” to open a door of

opportunity to speak with those God has divinely appointed to come
across our path. A hook is a means of drawing people in and catching
their attention. We currently use drama, music, and sometimes dance to
“hook” those God has been drawing.

We are currently serving at the Huntington Beach pier on Saturday

nights between the hours of 7pm & 11pm. We desire to share in one
place consistently and be a regular source of blessing to that area. We
have also shared with people around Cinema City and most recently in
downtown Santa Ana's artist village with Break Free Ministry.

Anyone who is interested in praying for us or partnering with us in

anyway can contact the church office.

“But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that

while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
MARRIED’S MINISTRY
CCEA’s Married’s Ministry provides Christian couples with Bible-based
teachings and social activities to ensure that couples are provided with
opportunities to grow together in Christ.

We believe in God-centered marriages and therefore seek to enrich our

marriages through Bible study and fellowship. Come enrich your marriage and
meet new couples in a safe environment and grow in the grace of God while
learning godly principles.

Some of the ways to accomplish this is through:

SUPPER FOR SIX: Would you like to meet other married couples and build
some relationships? Three couples meet together over a two to three month
period, sharing meals in an informal comfortable atmosphere.

HOMEBUILDERS: The HomeBuilders’ Couples Series is a small-group

Bible study dedicated to grounding and growing your relationship with your
spouse. Whether you've been married for years or are newly married, this
series will help you and your spouse discover timeless principles from God's
Word that you can apply to your own family.

RETREATS: Our yearly retreats focus on making marriage all that God
intended it to be by studying His Word, spending time with each other, and
getting to know other couples.
VARIOUS EVENTS: Opportunities for special evenings such as Valentine’s
Day, special dinners and evenings out provide more time to focus on the Lord
and each other.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
MENS MINISTRY
Men’s Ministry at Calvary Chapel East Anaheim is dedicated to helping men
be the godly example God calls us to be. The mission of CCEA is to provide
men with resources to develop godly character and to equip them to influence
their world for Christ. Becoming a Christian is not a destination – it is a life
long journey. Opportunities to grow and be in fellowship with other men at
CCEA are:

MEN’S BIBLE STUDY: Join us each Friday morning from 6:30 am to 7:30
am in the Café as we study the Word, fellowship with each other, and enjoy
hot coffee and breakfast.

THROUGH THE BIBLE IN A YEAR: We meet every Tuesday night from 7-

8:30pm in the Northwest Meeting Room. Take this chance to grow your faith
by seeing the progressive, step-by-step revelation of God’s will, how it has
become manifest over the centuries, and how it affects your life today.

AGAPE GROUPS: Small groups of men, providing a safe, confidential

environment in which the Word of God is upheld to the utmost, specifically in
the areas of accountability, gathering, admonishment, prayer and
encouragement. Pick up an Agape Group brochure to learn more.

MEN’S RETREAT: Journey to the mountains with us each fall as we take

time out of our busy schedules to focus on the Lord, grow in His Word, and
spend time fellowshipping with our brothers in Christ.

CRAFTSMEN FOR CHRIST: Craftsmen for Christ is an outreach ministry

which offers “hands-on” support for those in the body and the local
community who cannot afford home maintenance and repair. Pick up a
Craftsmen for Christ brochure to learn how you can minister to others, too.
Mission’s
“How beautiful are the feet of those who bring the good news of the Gospel.”
Romans 10:15

At Calvary Chapel East Anaheim we want to see Jesus raise up men and
women from our own body to be disciples and to obey the Lord’s command to
go into all the world to make disciples and proclaim the good news, the gospel
of Jesus Christ. The call of Christ on us is to know God make Him known!
Since we have come to know Him we now are passionately consumed with
making Him known! We believe the Church itself is God's ordained "sending
agency" so we don't look to support outside missionaries as much as
to aggressively raise up and send out a generation of brand new ones!

We support several missionaries full-time all over the world, and have
“missionary care teams” who pray for, encourage, and get involved with our
missionaries on a personal level. A large portion of our giving is donated to
missions and the furtherance of the Gospel as set forth in God's Word in
places both near and far.

We desire to provide opportunities for anyone in the body at CCEA to be

involved in missions. There are short-term mission trips Mexico, Ireland,
Costa Rica, Hungary, and Cuba, and more local opportunities in Atwood,
Camp Alandale, and downtown Anaheim.

Check out our Missions Wall to learn more about the many missionaries who
are participating in God’s calling to reach out to a world that desperately needs
the gospel of Jesus Christ and pray about how you may become involved.
MPACT GIRLS
MPact Girls is a Christ-centered club for girls, with the goal to win girls to
Jesus through love and acceptance, teach them to obey everything Jesus
commands, provide encouragement, support and accountability through
lasting Christian relationships, and acquaint them with the Great Commission
of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Mpact Girls Clubs is a great opportunity for girls to discover a personal

relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is a place where girls learn biblical
truths for living and impacting their world through Bible stories, unit memory
verses, class discussions, crafts, and games.

Lessons teach girls valuable life skills from sportsmanship and integrity to
cooking and outreach. Girls learn how to choose actions, attitudes, and
behaviors that please God. It is also a great opportunity for mothers and
daughters to spend quality time together on outings and during special events,
such as a mother-daughter picnic, serving meals during a community outreach
event, roller-skating, visiting nursing home residents, hiking at a nature center,
and a trip to the zoo.

Currently, CCEA has classes for Kindergarten through 5th grade girls. Girls
meet every other Tuesday night, and can join anytime during the school year.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
NEWCOMER’S MINISTRY
Are you new to our body and wanting to find out more about Calvary Chapel
East Anaheim?

Each month we have a “Newcomer’s Dinner” to welcome all the new folks
(and those who have just never attended!). This fun, casual dinner is held at
the home of Ken and Susan Chinn, 900 E. Cypress Street in Anaheim. Ken
and Susan own a beautiful restored victorian home that will welcome you with
open arms.

Dinner begins at 6:30 pm and you’ll enjoy meeting the pastors and making
new friends. You’ll hear more about CCEA, how it began, and what is going
on now. Children of all ages are welcome.

To find out the date of the next dinner, watch your bulletin or call the church
office. Please RSVP by calling the church office.
NOAH’S ARK MINISTRY
Noah’s Ark is a group of believers, first and foremost committed to Jesus
Christ, coming together to fulfill His greatest commandment. We seek to
glorify God and love one another through the use of animals. We believe that
as we minister through the mutual connection of love for animals that God has
placed in our hearts, we will glorify God in reaching those for Christ who also
share that bond.

WHAT WE DO:
* Use the animals as vessels for outreach in the community
* Use therapy dogs to open doors to minister in hospitals,
nursing homes, jails, etc.
* Help the church body with needs for their animals
* Organize fellowship events with our animals

Find out how you and your pet can touch the life of another and help point
them to the love of Christ.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
Nurse’s Fellowship
The purpose of this ministry is for registered and vocational nurses,
retired and active
• to offer themselves in His service and for His glory with the gift
of caring and compassion
• to pray for others with healthcare needs or concerns
• to be a presence to those in need
• to provide basic healthcare information, and
• to support and pray for each other.

Nurses who desire to be a part of this ministry will make themselves

available on an "as needed" basis as needs are presented in the CCEA
body.

It is a goal of this ministry to be an active part of preparing CCEA's

young adults for short-term missions, at home and abroad, in which
there will be a medical/nursing component and to serve individually in
these mission trips as God directs.

If you are an RN or an LVN, please call the church office for more
information.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly

loved, clothe yourselves with compassion...
Colossians3:12

We have numerous opportunities to spend time in prayer with one another.
We’d love to have you choose to attend any of the following with us. The
Prayer Room is located in the Sanctuary, to the left of the platform.

PRAYER ROOM: If God spoke to you through the message or worship about
a specific area in your life, come lift it up in prayer with the support of other
Christians. Come into the Prayer Room after service where pastors and other
Christians will be waiting to pray with and for you.

PRAYER WATCH: Prays over the needs of the Body of Christ each day from
6:00 am to 7:00 am in the Prayer Room.

PRAYER CHAIN: Become part of our e-mail prayer chain. We will e-mail
important prayer requests so you can pray for the needs of our body.

PRAYER FOR PRODIGALS: Meets on the 2nd Monday of each month at

7:00 pm in the Café. Come pray with others who are also lifting up their sons
or daughters who are not walking with the Lord.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
HOW TO HAVE A QUIET TIME
1. Set aside 30 minutes in your day, preferably first thing in the morning.
This will require sacrifice and discipline. Do it!
2. Do your wake up sequence first (shower, get dressed, eat, exercise).
This will assure you are fully awake and out of bed for your time.
3. Read a portion of your Bible devotionally (personal rather than
academic).
a. Ask God to open your mind to understand what you
read.
b. Spend ten minutes in reading.
c. Read consecutively from day to day (you know where to
go).
4. Use the prayer list.
a. Pray consecutively from item to item.
b. Pray about each item until you sense you have expressed
your heart.
5. Pray in private.
6. Pray out loud. This is essential – you will be able to stay in
prayer the whole time.
7. Fill the entire 20 minutes. If praying too quickly, pray in more detail
and expand concern. If you can’t finish the list in time, speed up or
add more time.
8. Be accountable.
a. Commit to someone else your decision to spend time
with God.
b. Have them ask you on a regular basis if you are doing it.
9. Take your intimacy into your day. Immediately, as you leave your
quiet time, continue dialoguing with God. Seek to maintain intimacy
through, in between, and around interruptions.

SALT & LIGHT
“You are the salt of the earth...you are the light of the world.”
Matthew 5:13, 14

The Salt and Light Ministry is a non-partisan informational ministry providing

resources that promote good government according to Biblical principles
without any political party affiliation.

The Bible instructs us to be godly citizens and respect the powers that be, even
if they are contrary to what we may believe. However, we can use our freedom
to lovingly and respectfully let our voices be heard. The Salt and Light
Ministry is designed to inform you of the frequently changing laws and
pending legislation that will affect our religious and personal freedoms.

We want to better equip Christians with an understanding of the secular

governing process, and to empower Christians to become a stronger influence
with elected public officials. Our goal is to encourage those officials to enact
and support sound public policies that protect our religious and personal
freedoms. We conduct regular voter registration and will encourage all
Christians to vote in every election.

We are not here to argue politics or side with any political affiliation; we are
here to provide tools for furthering the Gospel of Christ and to honor our Lord
through prayer, Scripture, and biblically principled laws and legislation.

Join us on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7pm at “Prayer for the
Nation” in the Café, as we lift up our country, it’s leaders and lawmakers.
Also watch your bulletin for news alerts that you should be aware of.
SINGLE’S MINISTRY
One of the most exciting things about singleness is that God’s Word celebrates
it. According to Paul, singleness can be a season of unparalleled passion for
God, and a unique opportunity for spiritual growth and meaningful ministry
with minimal distractions. We here at CCEA join Paul in celebrating
singleness and want you to know that we truly value single adults.

CCEA Single’s Ministry is a safe and secure place for single people to
fellowship in a godly atmosphere. We are dedicated to bringing our single
adult community into a deeper and more passionate relationship with Jesus
Christ. The format varies frequently but the focus is on the Bible Study,
worship, prayer, fellowship, friendship, and fun.

The Singles Ministry at Calvary is separated into two age appropriate groups:
All 4 One is for singles aged 30-49.
Single Hearted for ages 50 and over.

Studies and activities include:

ALL 4 ONE BIBLE STUDY: Join us each Thursday night at 7:30 pm for a
weekly study. Call the church office for the location.

SINGLE HEARTED STUDY: Join us on the fourth Friday of each month at

7:00 pm in the Café. In addition to a delicious dinner, we enjoy time in the
Word, fellowship and worship.

ACTIVITIES: Watch the bulletin for monthly activities such as whale

watching, special day trips, hikes, and evenings out.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
TITUS 2 MENTORING
As a young woman, have you ever desired the experience, empathy and
spiritual maturity of an older woman to come along side of you?

Titus 2:3-5 places the responsibility for teaching and discipling younger
women upon mature godly women. The Titus 2 Ministry is a one-on-
one relationship pairing older and younger Christian women for the
purpose of developing a supportive friendship, encouraging one another
in Christ and living according to God’s Word.

Each relationship is developed and built on mutual trust and respect to

create a confidential safe harbor.

What does Scripture say the older woman is to model and teach?
Love for her husband (single women, family and friends)
Love for her children
Managing a home well
Biblical submission to her own husband
Kindheartedness
Purity
Honorable Living
Reality and Integrity

To find out how you can be paired up with another sister in Christ, call
the church office.
WELCOMING MINISTRY
We want your time here at CCEA to be as pleasant as possible, and helping us
to do that are the door greeters, ushers and parking lot attendants.

GREETERS serve every other week, sharing smiles and handshakes with
those who enter. We want every person entering the building to feel the love
of Christ and know that they are welcomed.

USHERS also serve every other week, assisting the body with any questions
they might have, escorting new friends to the correct classroom, handing out
bulletins, and assisting in communion and offering.

PARKING LOT ATTENDANTS assist drivers in maintaining a good traffic

flow while keeping pedestrians safe.

If you’d like to be part of one of the above ministries, we’d love to have you
join us!

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
WE BELIEVE the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ’s (agape) love,
which is greater than differences we possess, and without which we have no right to
claim ourselves Christians.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be spiritual; therefore, we remain flexible and

yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be inspirational; therefore, we give great place

to music in our worship.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be intelligent; therefore, our services are

designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might
instruct us on how He should be worshipped. We seek to teach the Word of God in
such a way that its message can be applied to the individual’s life, leading that person
to a greater maturity in Christ. We teach both expositionally and topically.

WE BELIEVE worship of God should be fruitful; therefore, we look for His love in
our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him.

WE BELIEVE that the church government should be simplistic rather than a complex
bureaucracy, and we depend on the Holy Spirit to lead, rather than on fleshly
promotion.

WE BELIEVE that the Bible clearly delineates that spiritual gifts are for the
edification of the body and that they are to be exercised in love. We believe that love
is more important than the more demonstrative gifts, and without love, all exercise of
spiritual gifts is worthless. In our services, we focus on a personal relationship with
God through worship, prayer, and the teaching of the Word of God. We do not
practice speaking in tongues during worship or while a Bible study is in progress
because we do not believe that the Holy Spirit would interrupt Himself. God is not the
author of confusion. These gifts are encouraged in more intimate settings, e.g.
afterglow services and small groups, where their benefit can accomplish the purpose
for which they have been given – the edification of the body of Christ.
WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Here at CCEA it is our vision that women of all ages come alongside each
other to build a closer, intimate, personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is
our prayer that the women will grow and mature in their faith with Jesus
Christ and delight in His Word, and seek to reproduce the treasured
relationship we have found, with other women who need the love of Christ.
Throughout the year, there are numerous opportunities for fellowship and
growth:

AGAPE GROUPS: Small groups of women, providing a safe, confidential

environment in which the Word of God is upheld to the utmost, specifically in
the areas of accountability, gathering, admonishment, prayer and
encouragement. Pick up an Agape Group brochure to learn more.

BIBLE STUDIES: At CCEA we want to be known as “Women of the Word”.

Come join us as we delve deeper into God’s Word and grow together. Studies
and times are listed on the back of this brochure.

HEARTS IN SYNC: H.I.S. meets every fourth Monday of the month from
7:00 to 9:00 pm in the Cafe. We spend the first 45 minutes or so just enjoying
a cup of coffee, delicious treats, and sweet fellowship with our Sisters in
Christ. Then, each week we hear a testimony or an encouragement from the
Word. This is a perfect time to invite a co-worker, neighbor or friend who
needs to meet the Lord, or just be "loved on" by the ladies. Join us for this
casual "ladies' night" centered around Christ, fellowship and worship.

PROVERBS 31:20 “STITCHES OF LOVE”: Knit, crochet, or loop hats,

blankets and scarves for military personnel, newborns and seniors. Pick up a
Stitches of Love brochure to learn more.
(over)
TITUS 2 MENTORING MINISTRY: A one-on-one relationship pairing older
and younger Christian women for the purpose of developing a supportive
friendship, encouraging one another in Christ and living according to God’s
Word. Pick up a Titus 2 brochure to learn more.

SPECIAL EVENTS: Throughout the year we enjoy various events such as

holiday teas and gatherings, retreats focused on the Word of God, and special
speakers. Watch the bulletin for upcoming events.

BIBLE STUDIES:
THURSDAY MORNINGS: A year long study which runs September through
May, ladies spend time in in-depth Bible studies, as well as come together to
discuss what the Lord has taught them. This small group discussion time
facilitates growth and friendship as the ladies get to know one another and the
Lord more intimately. Come join us each Thursday morning at 9:00 am in the
Sanctuary.

KINDRED HEARTS: Meets each Thursday evening at 7:00 pm at the home

of Nancy Matthews, 5041 Casa Oro Drive in Yorba Linda, 714-993-3138.
Spend time in this intimate setting, sitting at the feet of Jesus as we study the
Word.

WOMEN’S HOME STUDIES: Various studies meet throughout the week in

a comfortable home atmosphere close to your home. Contact the church office
to find out what studies are currently available.

For more information, please feel free to contact the church office.
YOUNG ADULTS
If you are a young adult between the ages of 18-30 looking for a place to grow
in your relationship with God and others, check out the Young Adult Ministry.

Our desire here above all things is to be a Spirit empowered body of believers
who make knowing Jesus Christ and living for His glory the driving passion of
our lives. We desire deeply to become more like Jesus Christ. And we seek to
be faithful in running with the truth of the gospel message in our generation,
proclaiming it in the power of the Holy Spirit with boldness and without
compromise to a world that is dying to hear it!

of sharing in His sufferings, becoming like Him in His death, and so,
somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.”

STITCHES OF LOVE
She extends her hand to the poor and stretches out her hands
to the needy. Proverbs 31:20

Each month we gather for prayer, fellowship, and a time of using the talents
God has given us to benefit others by loom-knitting hats and making blankets
for:

Newborn babies at our local hospitals

Children and adults at homeless shelters
Soldiers serving in the Middle East
Our own new babies here at CCEA
Several outreaches in the community.

We will provide the yarn and (if necessary) teach you this easy way to knit on
the loom.

Everyone is welcome to join us on the first Friday of each month, from 7:00
pm to 9:00 pm in the Court of Praise and the third Wednesday of each month
from 10:00 am to noon at the Kuster home.
