1. Introduction
1.1. Purpose
The purpose of this document is to capture the Business Requirements of <Name of the
Application/Project> as a deliverable by the NetEdge Computing Global Services Pvt. Ltd.

1.2. Scope

2. Business Scope
This Chapter describes the Business needs and the objectives planned to be met by the
proposed (this) system. It also highlights the assumptions that have been made while
preparing this document.
If there are any changes in the assumptions made, then it may have impact on the total system
design and development.
2.1. Business Needs

2.3. Assumptions
<This section describes any assumption, background or dependencies that have been made
while conducting the study about the system, its use, its operational environment or any other
significant project related issue. These things are assumed to be True and may have direct
impact on the design and development of the system and applications>.

end user characteristics, probable changes in the functionality etc.>.

3. Business Requirements
This Chapter describes the Business Requirements that needs to be automated by the
proposed system. It covers both, the Business Functional Requirements and the Business
Non-Functional Requirements.
3.1. Business Functional Requirements

proposed system>.
The Table 3-1 given below describes the Business Functional Requirements to be met by the

4. Business Process Flows

This Chapter describes the Business Flows that needs to be addressed and automated by the
proposed system. It covers both, the Business Processes as they exist today and the Business
Processes that have been proposed when the proposed system gets implemented.

associated with them>.
4.2. Proposed Business Process Flows

<This section describes the proposed (as will be used once the proposed system is deployed
and implemented at the customer site) business processes and the work flow associated with
