Participated in a joint project at the 14 day International COSPAR Capacity Building Workshop held
jointly by COSPAR and the Harbin Institute of Technology, China at Harbin, China during
September 2009 on ‘Lunar and Planetary Surface Science’ involving a feasibility study of a
probable mission to Mars to test, specifically the conditions for the habitability of the Martian
environment for building future human bases and self-sustained colonies. Was part of the
payload, rover and lander design team along with other team members from Pakistan and China

SEMINARS AND Participated as a student associate of Kalpana Chawla Centre for Space & Nano Sciences (KCCSNS) in
WORKSHOPS a 14 day International COSPAR Capacity Building Workshop held jointly by COSPAR and the

Planetary Surface Science’.

Space & Nano Sciences & the Physics & Mathematics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata.
