The strong foundation of a successful nation is none other than good education. Education is the
ticket to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today and it is the biggest
service to the individual, to the nation and to humanity world over. We, at Amity believe in the
same and follow our Hon‟ble Founder President Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan‟s mission: “To develop
the overall personality of students by making them not only excellent professionals but also good
individuals, with understanding and regard for human values, pride in their heritage and culture,
a sense of right and wrong , and yearning for perfection” The culture encompasses the value
system, the shared beliefs and a blend of heritage and harmonious history. India being a nation of
paradoxes finely fits in the animated example of multi cultural coherence. The often clichéd line
'unity among diversity' was perhaps coined to state Indian paradigm. It's the co-existence of
cultural dimensions that sets the pace for propelling the business drivers. The illustriousness of
multicultural axis forms the backdrop of the Annual Management Festival TRENDS 2011 which
will be held from February 16-18, 2011.

It's true camaraderie that reverberates the Amity Business School; the cultural ties are embedded
within the value system of Amitians who take TRENDS 2011 as the channel for transferring
love, harmony, ideas and cultural integrity to the world. The academic perusal must be
synchronized with co-curricular activities to assist students to achieve holistic growth as it
endeavors to give them an opportunity to express themselves. The Annual
Business Summit is a platform to interact with industry experts who would share their thoughts
on the industry trends and needs aiming to encapsulate the entire business horizon and thus
giving insight into the real corporate world.

TRENDS 2011 aims at the synergy of ideas of students and enthusiasts from all over the country.
The tributaries of knowledge, culture, visions and panoramas will converge thus giving the
festival its true meaning. We at Amity believe that this festival would bring amidst euphoria, an
experience to remember and an opportunity to form new bonds while celebrating our cherished
cultures, heritage and values.

ADZAPPPP!!!!!

An event for all those who have the


ability to cast a spell on buyers. It is
about putting the very heartthrobs
of a business into type, paper and
pen. If you can use the power of
Advertising, Branding, Packaging
and Presentation, then welcome to
ADZAPPPP, which challenges your
imagination to think big and think new. In this event – a product will be given to all the
teams and they will be asked to design a whole marketing package for the given product,
from advertising to creating a brand name. The advertisement of the product must be
unique and not the same which company showcases. The teams can enact a role play or
say it with sketches.

MARKETING TAMBOLAAAA
Marketing Tambola is a regular Tambola with
the tadka of Marketing in it. Guess famous TV
ads, logos and punch lines to know the
company they belong to and cross it out in your
Tambola ticket. Who has the luck and finishes
faster wins Megabucks. An exciting game – it
will surely give you an experience of a club, the
marketing way!!!!
BRANDXCUSE ME????
This exciting event has the ability to rack the brains
of even a marketing buff. In this event the teams
would be given products to be marketed in unusual
ways to unusual segments and they have to market
that product with new and creative ideas. Take the
challenge and conquer the competition…!!!

GREEN SENSES
GO GREEEN…is the call of the Earth… is the
new buzz around. Here the teams would be
given a chance to brainstorm and come up with
ideas to make a product out of discarded items
and impress the audience with their ECO-
FRIENDLY IDEAS.

CHAKRAVIEUH
How much do you know about dukes of branding, barons of
marketing and the moguls of advertising? Test your
knowledge as we melt your pride down over the seemingly
naïve questions. Not a usual quiz but a quiz with a marketing
touch…..break its trap and fly with the booty.
MIND MANIA
It’s winter and the last thing you want to be doing is using your
grey matter. But, the Trishna at TRENDS have just come up
with something that you would want to put on your back-to-
school list. The usual dumb charades, but in a marketing way.
Guess the brands and beat and make it all over.. It’s the
entertaining one………..!!!!!!!!!!!!
