• Show slide show on lungs
Teach about lungs( http://kidshealth.org/kid/htbw/lungs.html#, and the powerpoint)
Breathing
Breathing related to exercise
• Count the students off 1-3 and line them up on the carpet
• Have them sit down and feel how slow their breathing is while sitting
• Have the kids stand up and play Simon says
• Half way through the game have them feel again their breathing(should be slightly faster)
• At the end of the game have them again feel their breathing
• Send the children row by row back to their seats
• Review
• Pass out post test answer sheets
• After tests are complete pass out the coloring sheet and have them color Mr. and Mrs. Lungs
