 Introduction and statement of the Problem: -
In Current Fiscal 2010-‘11, we seen that Department of Disinvestment, Ministry of
Finance Came up with many I.P.O and F.P.O to raise money through this Route. They set
40,000 Crores of Disinvestment. As an Investor necessary to Analysis of Methodology and
Pattern of Government Disinvestment Programme because in Primary Market plays
Important Role in Stock(Capital) Market. If investors knew that how to make strategy to
earn maximum return through Analysis of before and after Pricing of I.P.O and F.P.O.

 Short literature Survey:-

We will get the Secondary data from Websites and Magazines & Business News
Channels.

Now days a very hot topic of discussion is word “DISINVESTMENT”. We
will study what is Disinvestment? How it generate Revenue for Government? How it
beneficial to Investors? How it beneficial to Intermediaries? What is it’s Pros and
Cons? How to decide Pricing of Issue of Stock? How to analyze the data. All these
things are Contribution of the main study.
