• Web‐based Solution: 
The system provides a web‐based interface for monitoring and control of electrical devices by simply logging in to a secured 
web  account.  No  additional  software  or  infrastructure  is  required,  to  install  or  maintain  for  the  smooth  functioning  of  these 
intelligent devices. 
 
• Wireless Technology:  
The system has no wiring constraints (communication is wireless – GPRS) and can be easily deployed worldwide. The device can 
be  retrofitted  easily  in  an  existing  installation  framework  without  major  modification  in  the  system.  Unlike  some  proprietary 
protocols, its open architecture enables easy control and monitoring (bidirectional communication) of SLP and feedback.

• Hardware 
At  the  heart  of  connectgaia.com  is  the  connectgaia  hardware  units.  The 
connectgaia  hardware  unit  is  the  nodal  device  that  will  put  all  the  power 
related  problems  of  a  consumer  in  perspective.  Containing  power  and 
sensors (AI/DI) sensing port and a GPRS Antenna, this water resistant unit 
incorporates state‐of‐the‐art microprocessor‐based technology.  

The connectgaia hardware unit uses GPRS technology with highly sensitive 
GPRS antenna and assimilates the data that is then accessible to the remote 
user via Internet.  
The  microprocessor  inside  the  connectgaia  hardware  enables  the  remote 
user  to  control  the  connectgaia  hardware  units  that  in  turn,  control  the 
individual load/power consumption units. 
One or more connectgaia hardware units are installed at as many metering 
and wiring control points to monitor and control the operation of individual

In  water  utilities,  the  actual  water  which  has  been  produced/pumped  to  the  dedicated/authorized    consumers
