Examination Timetable

- All examinations are set out in alphabetical order, with the date and time shown beside each
paper.
- Candidates should check the date, time and locations of their examinations carefully.
Failure to present for an examination through misreading the timetable is not grounds for
special consideration.

- Candidates may face disciplinary action if unauthorised materials are found during the
examination on their person or on/near the candidate¶s desk or chair.
- Student ID cards must be displayed prominently on the desk throughout all examinations .
- Seats have been allocated to every candidate. Candidates are required to sit according to
the seat allocation pattern. This has been posted on the respective exam classrooms. Failure
to follow this would lead to strict disciplinary action.
- If your name does not appear in the seat allocation list, you are required to sit in the
classroom according to the invigilators instructions.

Candidates can bring the following standard items:

Unmarked ruler

Open book examinations allow students to take in hard copy study notes and books. Electronic
equipment such as mobile phones and personal computers is not allowed to be used during the exam .
Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam venue if they are more than 30 minutes late to an
exam.

1. Candidates are responsible for noting correctly the times and places of their examinations.
2. Candidates are responsible for bringing their Student ID to each examination for display on their
desk.
3. Without the special permission of the Invigilators no candidate may enter the examination r oom
more than half -an-hour after the examination has begun, or leave it until half -an-hour of the
4. No candidate may leave their desk during the last thirty minutes of any examination period
without the special permission of t he Invigilators. At the end of the examination, candidates
should remain seated at their desks until the Invigilators have collected all the answer books.
5. All personal effects such as, bags, laptops etc., which are brought into the examination room,
must be left at the front of the examination room and can only be collected at the end of the
examination.

6. All mobile telephones should be switched off during the examination and placed in your bags.
8. Candidates may not pass off the work of another as their own or quote the work of others without
acknowledgement. Such action will be liable to academic penalty and may also be liable to
