Instruction Set : How to do Connections.

Step 1 : Connecting Motors

Here is short description of motor port allocation

Motor Port Connections


MA Right Driving Motor
MB Left Driving Motor
MC Gripper Motor 1
MD Gripper Motor 2

Note : While connecting motors to Board Make sure Black wire will got ‘- ve ’ and red wire
should goto ‘+ve’ terminal of connector. Connection is reverse for motor B. In case of Motor
B Black wire got to ‘+ve ’ and red wire will got ‘-ve’.

Step 2: Connecting PS2 Module

Your PS2 wireless receiver is connected to board using Black wire connector .That connector is con-
nected in such away that it can be connected in only one direction. It may possible that color code of
connector and description on PCB may not matched.

Step 3 : Connecting Battery

Before connecting battery make sure whichever sensor module you have connected is in proper way.
While connecting battery first put switch Power Switch) in OFF state. Then Connect battery with
correct polarity. Red wire is Positive and Black Wire is Negative.

How to Use PS2.

Step 1 : Put off the supply

Make sure both PS2 and main board is switched off position.

Step 2 : Switch ON main board

Turn on the power of main board. As soon as you turn on the power Green LED will go solid. That
is Green LED will in on state. It indicates that PS2 module is powered ON.As soon as you turn on
Power Red LED receiver will start blinking. That means PS2 is now searching for some transmitter.

Step 3: Switch ON PS2 joystick

Now since red LED is blinking. That means now receiver is searching for some transmitter. As soon
as you power ON PS2 joystick Red LED will go solid. That means it will stop blinking. After that
you can drive your robot.

Your Robot can work in both Analogue and digital Mode as you use in PS2 gaming console.

UP / Triangle Move forward
RIGHT / Circle Turn Right
LEFT / Sqaure Turn Left
DOWN / Cross / X Move Backward

Debugging and FAQs

My PS2 is not pairing with receiver

Make sure both you turning your robot On first and then your PS2 Joystick

What happens if pairing lost while robot is in motion?

No problem. As soon as pairing is lost your robot will stop moving. But now you don't have to turn
off joystick because it will automatically pair itself. If Pairing is not achieved within 15 seconds then
check.

1. You are in the range of your receiver.

2. If still problem persist then you have to restart pairing sequence again.

How to test PS2 without connecting Motors?

If you can see just next to your motor connector there are bicolour LED as soon as you press any
key on joystick LED status will change. Default value for all LED are all LED in off state.
