PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

June-2010 to date:
Working with M/s Dongfang Electric Corporation Limited as Site Engineer and Office
Manager on construction of 72MW Khan Khwar Hydro Power Project, Besham and is
responsible for:

• Managing, supervising and monitoring the erection/ installation of Electro-

Mechanical (E&M) Equipment of 34MW vertical shaft Frances Turbine units (02 Nos.),
04MW Pelton Wheel turbine unit (01 No.), 132KV Switchyard, Intake gates and 11KV
Transmission Line from powerhouse to Weir Site and Housing Colony alongwith all
associated auxiliary and necessary equipment
• Supervised Erection Works of 220kW and 50kW emergency diesel generating
units.
• Supervised Erection of overhead gantry cranes, HVAC system, CO2 Fire-
protection system, compressed air system, dewatering & un-watering system, 230V
DC battery system, cooling water system, service water system & firefighting hydrant
system.
• Organizing, coordinating and resolving the problem pertaining Electro-
Mechanical (E&M) works to improve the work progress at project site such as
consignment verification, inspection, Sub-Contracting & Suppliers etc.
• Supervised the Erection/ Installation and testing of Current Transformer,
Voltage Transformer, CVT’s, Lightening arrestors, Disconnecting switches, earthing
switches, Circuit Breakers and Auto Transformers.
 • Supervised the erection/ installation and commissioning of 11KV Transmission
Lines from Powerhouse to Weir/ Intake site and Powerhouse to Housing Colony.
• Supervised hydro test of the piping system & Equipment installed in Powerhouse.
• Management & supervision of erection/installation and commissioning of VHF
communication system.
• Inspection of material, spare parts and other miscellaneous E&M equipment
prior to installation.
• Preparing of claim documents.
• Working as Coordinate Engineer among the Contractors for smooth workflow at
site.
• Reviewing drawings as per site requirements.
• Coordinating among Client, local and provincial administration.
