Delta Gamma AnchorDodge Manual

 
 

Basic Information
WHERE: Education Gym, University of Alberta

WHEN: Saturday, April 2nd, 2011

TIME: 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Sign up:

It will be $5.00/player in order to sign up. Each team must send in their team
information and money by April 1, 2011. You can drop off your information at the Delta
Gamma House (11009-87 Ave.) or contact a representative at the back of your package
to pick up your information and money.

Teams:

Max: 10 players

Min: 6 players

There must be a minimum of three members of each gender. Team themes are
encouraged!! You may even dress up in themed attire. Most creative theme will be
rewarded.

Prizes:

Prizes will be awarded for best team theme and team spirit. There will also be prizes for
best team participation, and an individual award given for the tournament’s MVP
(which may be a player to exhibited team spirit and all around good play). There will
also be a prize for the team that raised the most money for the Delta Gamma
Foundation (supporting organizations like the CNIB)!!! SO RAISE RAISE RAISE!!!!

Concession:

There will be a concession outside the education gym where you may purchase goodies
such ask chips, pop, chocolate bars, and possibly baked goods.

Where do the proceeds go?

ALL PROCEEDS GO TO THE DELTA GAMMA FOUNDATION AND THE CANADIAN


NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR THE BLIND. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING DELTA
GAMMA’S PHILANTHROPY AND A GOOD CAUSE! :)

Game 1: 1:30 Game 7: 2:30

Game 2: 1:30 Game 8: 2:30

Game 3: 1:50 Game 9: 3:00

Game 4: 1:50 Game 10: 3:00

Game 5: 2:10 Game 11: 3:20

Game 6: 2:10 Game 12: 3:40


RULES
1. A game of Rock Paper Scissors will be played between two team captain in order
to decide which sides each team will be on
2. 10 members per team, with a minimum of three of each gender
3. The ball will be live until it hits the ground
4. If the ref tells a member to get off the court, you must obey the ref and get off the
court.
5. Each team will be given 7 dodge balls to start, for
each $20 a team
raises; they will receive an extra ball.
6. No crossing the half court line
7. If you throw a ball and it hits you, you are out
8. Hit all over the body are allowed
9. If tied, a 1 on 1 sudden death match will take place

10. No arguing the referee or you will be kicked out

11. Games will be 15 minutes, with sets of 3 of games that will be 5 minutes in
length.
